"Xander" I heard a small voice whine, I just turned around and ignored it
"Xander!" the voice got louder so I opened my eyes to see Luella standing by my bed with her teddy in her hand "What?" I groaned
"Can I sleep with you?" she asked with pleading eyes. I sat up and leaned back on the headboard then picked up Ella and placed her on my lap while I brushed her hair out of her face
"What happened? Why'd you wake up?" I said pulling her into my chest, rocking her side to side
"Nothing, I couldn't sleep" she mumbled rubbing her eyes "Alright come on sleep, you woke up at such an unholy hour," I said closing my eyes with Luella against my chest trying to fall asleep
"Xander?" Luella whispered; she's not going to sleep is she?
"Yes, princess?" I said looking at her
"G'night, love you," she said muttered
"Love you too princess with all my heart," I said as I kissed her head and went back to sleep

I woke up early in the morning to get ready for work and remembered that Anastasia had to come to see me today to see what I could offer her in the company. I got ready then headed to Ella's room to see if she was asleep and noticed her duvet on the floor but nor her or Mr Snuggles insight, I sighed, she had probably woken up again at night and went to one of the boys' room.
I walked over to Xanders room to see if she had slept there and as per usual I was correct, there she was lying on Xander's chest gripping onto her teddy. I walked over and kissed her head then headed back downstairs to leave.
I got into my car and started driving straight away, my phone's screen lit up I looked to see Ana calling me, I picked up
"Morning"
"Good morning, are you at work yet?"she asked
"I'm on my way right now, did you need something?"
She sighed "If you're nearby could you pick me up obviously i-"
I chuckled "Yes don't worry I'll pick you up, I'll be there in five"
