"The food is so yummy!" Ella said rubbing her belly and laughing "Obviously, it's McDonald's what do you expect" Xavier spoke up rolling his eyes
"Xander, he rolled his eyes" Ella complained to Xander slapping his arm; if Xavier rolled his eyes, why couldn't she? "Baby, I'm older than you," Xavier said taking a bite out of his burger
Luella let out a huff "Okay" she longed out her word "Luella, love, if you're done go inside and open the tv, I need to speak with your brother's" Adriel spoke up as he gulped down the rest of his whiskey
"Okay! Thank you for the food" she said cheerfully, wiping her hands and walking inside
Xavier looked at Adriel "What?" he said taking a sip of his drink with a slurp.
Xander glared at him in disgust "Don't fucking slurp your drink" he said
"I heard about Aidan, I'll give Xander a check which will cover his whole treatment and hospital bills, ask Rose to send Aidan's details," Adriel said
"Alright, thank you by the way," Xavier said smiling and walking up to Adriel. Adriel pulled Xavier into a side hug "If there's anything you need, tell me" he whispered
Xavier nodded "Thanks for the food brother," he said to Xander trying to take the piss "Xavier piss off" he gritted and got up to walk inside. He saw Luella dancing in the middle of the room to some dance on the tv
He laughed at her movement. Her hair was flying all over the place as she was turning around. "Nice moves baby!" Xavier said walking in and laughing loudly at her, she suddenly turned around and looked at Xavier "Xavier stop!" she shouted hiding her face from embarrassment
Xander walked up to her and picked her up "Sh, he's laughing because he can't dance well like you" he said "Lie" she muttered putting her arms around his neck looking at Xavier who was still laughing his ass off
"Xavier knock it off," Xander said kicking him "Ow!" he shouted standing up and wiping the tears off his face from laughter
"Luella comes on let's get you to bed," Xander said rubbing her back. Adriel walked inside and kissed Luella's hand "Goodnight princess," he said smiling at her
"Goodnight, but not Xavier," she said grinning cheekily. Xavier glared at her "Don't make me come there" he said, Luella looked at him "Can I go bed now" she whispered to Xander who laughed at her
Xander walked upstairs and put Ella in her pyjamas and then tucked her into bed making sure to leave the nightlight on "Goodnight, sleep tight" he said kissing her forehead "Night" she whispered and hugged her teddy
Xander walked out of the room leaving Luella's door slightly open in case she woke up.

It's the next morning, Adriel had sent me the check and I was on my way to the hospital. I called Xavier "Yeah?" he said with shuffling noises in the back
"Send me Aidan's date of birth and full name to me, I'm almost there," I said turning into the hospital car park
"Alright I sent them," he said,
"What's Luella doing?" I asked
"Um, I don't know?" he said coming out more like a question
"Xavier stay by her side for fucks sake," I said sighing
"Alright whatever bye," he said and hung up
I parked my car and walked inside to the main reception "Hi, what floor is the children's oncology?" I asked the lady at the desk
She looked up "Go up to the 4th floor and it should be on your right," she said smiling, I muttered a thank you and went up to the oncology
I walked into the unit and went to the reception there "Hi, how can I help?" the nurse asked me "Is Aidan Jude Hale here?" I asked her
"Oh yes that sweet boy, he's in room 382," she said. I walked to his room and saw Mrs Hale "Morning" I said smiling, she looked up and smiled at me "Morning Xander, come sit" she said standing up from her chair.
I put my hand up "No, please sit down" I said
"Hey Aidan," I said to the little boy who was sitting down watching a movie on his iPad which Xavier gifted him last year "Hey," he said looking up slightly and waving
"I just came to see how you were," I said ruffling his hair up "He's doing good for now" Mrs Hale spoke up gently smiling at Aidan
"I'll be back really quickly, do you guys want anything?" I asked them, Mrs Hale shook her head "Aidan?" I said
He looked at me then to his mum "Mum, can I have sweets?" he asked before I could let Mrs Hale answer "Which one's do you want?" I asked him
"Any!" he said, I laughed and nodded then got out of the room and walked to the reception again
"Can I speak to Aidan's doctor?" I said, the nurse nodded and called his doctor who came immediately "Let's speak in my office" she said as I followed her
"Sit please," she said and went to sit on her desk "So how can I help?" she asked me "I want to pay all of Aidan's hospital bills and treatment," I said
She sighed "One second," she said typing "The whole treatment and hospital bills would possibly cost around thirty-five thousand, the medical insurance won't even cover up one thousand," she said looking on the computer screen "It's okay, don't take anything off the insurance I'll pay fully"
She nodded "Who's account will the money be taken from?" she asked me "Adriel Ellis" she looked at me in shock "Oh okay," she said continuing to type "Give me one second I need to do a phone call," I said quickly standing up and calling Adriel
"What?" he said
"They're taking thirty-five grand instead just letting you know"
"Alright, be quick and come to the office we have a meeting," he said sighing
"Okay, bye," I said and hung up then walked back into the Doctor's office "Okay, take the money from that account," I said
She nodded and gave me a paper to sign which I signed immediately "thank you" she said I nodded and walked downstairs to the small shop in the hospital and got Aidan some sweets and paid for it then walked back up to his room
"Here you go," I said taking the sweets out of the bag and handing them to him "Thank you!" he said hugging me "You're welcome," I said kissing his head and faced Mrs Hale
"I would've stayed longer but I have a meeting now, I'll see if I can visit any time soon. I also have someone I want you guys to meet" I said smiling
"Who!?" Aidan shouted, Mrs Hale laughed, so did I "You'll see her soon, for now, it's a secret" I whispered to him "Stay safe yeah?" I told him to which he nodded
"I'll see you both soon," I said walking out of the room
