Y/n Gray is 15 years old. She has been at Clear Haven Orphanage since she was five, ever since being given away by her parents, Helga and Leroy Gray. When Leroy and Helga found out they were going to have a child, they were overjoyed. They tried to be the best parents they could. Leroy and Helga would always play with Y/n, watch movies, and run around outside.
That was until Leroy lost his job and the family wasn't getting any money. He started to blame it on Y/n. Saying that if she was never born that he wouldn't have lost his job, that he could actually be happy, and that she was a mistake. Leroy started drinking and became abusive. He would beat Y/n, while Helga would act oblivious. Eventually, Helga started blaming things on her too. Saying that if Y/n was never born that she would still have her loving husband.
One day, Helga and Leroy had enough. They left Y/n in front of the orphanage with just a bag of clothes and her favorite stuffed bear, Mr. Beans. Since then, Y/n has been at the orphanage until she finally gets adopted.

So there is some backstory. There will probably be more traumatic stuff to happen to Y/n because why not??
