17 years ago today, on January 22nd, I was born. That's right. It's my birthday! I'm finally going to find out who my soulmate is today! I was lying in my bed, contemplating whether or not I wanted to see who it was now or later.
"Uggggh, I know I don't have the patience to wait," I mumbled under my breath to myself. I squeezed my eyes shut and brought my arm up. I quickly prayed to every god I could think of that I wouldn't get Bree as my soulmate, then I opened my eyes.
I smiled at the name on my wrist. I hummed and kissed my wrist, feeling a smile grow across my face. THANK GOD IT ISN'T BREE. Besides that, I'm thrilled with who I got. Gaining her trust will be hard work, but I'm willing to work for it.
"Yo! Happy Birthday, my dude!" Jay exclaimed, barging in.
"How are you awake?" I asked.
"Shut up and get dressed! I'm taking you out for breakfast. You. Are. Welcome," Jay grinned.
"Thanks," I smiled.
Jay was just about to close the door until he asked, "Oh, yeah, who is it?"
"Who is what?" I arched my eyebrow.
"Your soulmate, stupid," Jay rolled his eyes.
"Oh, it's......me, obviously," I smirked.
"Are you seriously not going to tell me?" Jay grumbled.
"Yep," I nodded. And you all won't be finding out till the end of the chapter, so take your guesses. I reached for my phone, to see a million texts from my friends and family. I thanked everyone, but there were a few that stood out to me the most.
