As we were in the car on the way to Alania's house I get a call without looking at the caller ID I answer
"Hello" i says putting my phone on squeak before putting it on the dash board
"Hey big sis" my sister Ezra says other the phone
"Oh hey Ezra how are you"i say
"I'm good hru what are you doing"
"I'm great me and Iona just came from her ultra sound appointment" i say Iona looks at me eyes wide I was confused but then remembering I haven't told Ezra or my mother that Iona is pregnant.

"IONAS PREGNANT" Ezra screamed through the phone i winces at the loudness of her voice
"Yes she's pregnant we wanted to tell you and mom at the same time but I kinda spoiled it on accident" i say scratching the back of my head
"CONGRATS SIS OMG IM GOING TO A AUNT YESSSSS" she screamed I can see her dancing around her room in my memory.

"Can Iona hear this" she asks
"Yes" i say laughing
"congratulations Iona" she says
"Thank you Ezra" Iona says with a full mouth of orange chicken
"Um I have a favor to ask" Ezra says
"Is that the only reason you call me" i ask playfully
"Psh of course not" she says i laugh
"So what's your favor you wanted to ask me"
"Um can you maybe come pick up from Paradise Club" she says club quietly
"Ezra what the fuck are you doing a club" I yell
"I need to some stress off my back school has been hard and my mental health isn't the greatest at the moment"
"I know but you need to stop turning to alcohol when your stressed it's not healthy Ezra I don't want you to end up like me" i say the last sentence quietly.
When Mia died I turned to alcohol, alcohol was my pain reliever I don't want Ezra to turn out like me drinking all the time thinking it will solve all your problems but I won't it might help for a couple hours but after those hours when your sober your pain and stress will still be there waiting for you at the door.
"I know Skylar I'm trying okay" I hear her sniffle
"I'll come pick you up from the bar but I want you to promise me you will slow down on the alcohol" she doesn't respond
"Please Ezra for me please"
"Okay fine I'll stop with the alcohol" she says with a sigh
"I'll be there in 45 minutes"
"Okay bye"
"Bye" i hang up the phone
"Is she ok" Iona asks worriedly Iona cares for everyone even if she doesn't know you that's what I like about her.
"I don't know she's been going to clubs and bars more often she's Eighteen I can't really stop her from doing what she wants"
"You should check up on her more often babe like she said her mental health hasn't been the greatest. I had a friend one time back in middle school she had bad mental health and one day she didn't come to school turns on she committed suicide the day before I still feel guilt for not checking up on her more often" Iona says rubbing my shoulder
