"Wait what!? You confessed your love to her? When!?" Nishikata spoke
"Yesterday I guess, I texted her I loved her" Takao smiled, expecting people to nod, only for him to be the only displaying a positive emotion
"Over. The. PHONE!?" Hamaguchi unexpectedly shouted
Kimora laughed at this friends as Hamaguchi tore into Takao's poor confession
"You idiot! Why would you confess to her over the phone?" Hamaguichi then proceeded to explain in great detail the exact requirements for a good concession
"So you have to get the mood exactly correct" Hamaguichi soon finished his college exam speech about how to confess correctly
"Wow sounds like someone is really thinking about confessing to someone" Kimura chuckled to himself
"No that's not it you idiot!" Hamaguichi then proceeded to lash out on Kimura for not being nice
"Hey Nishikata! How about you? How would you confess to someone?"
"What!? Why me? Don't drag me into this!" Nishikata dodged the question
The three proceeded to bicker before Takao slammed the table
"YOU GUYS HAVEN'T EVEN ASKED ME HOW DID THE CONFESSION GO!" Takao angrily shouted
The three boys looked at him
"Let me guess, she said no" They said in unison
Takao proceeded to cry a tear of a sadness
"Why did she though!? I think I was being nice, and I thought she liked me?" Takao sadly curled into a ball
"Did she tell you why she said no?" Hamaguichi probed
"She only said that she was changing schools so she didn't want to be in a relationship" Takao responded
"Hm, that might explain it" Kimura thought out loud
There was a short silence before someone spoke up
"So what would you guys might want to order?" The waitresses asked
The 4 boys looked at each other
"How long have you been there?" Nishikata questioned
"Long enough" She smiled brightly
Sunflower (manga influences)
"Hey Takagi-san, you see those sunflowers?" Nishikata pointed towards the sunflowers
"Yeah I see them" Takagi sighed as the two took a moment to watch the beautiful valley of sunflowers
"Oh I think I see a sunflower maze!" Exclaimed Nishikata as he ran towards what he just saw
"(Oh Nishikata, you are always like that)" Takagi though as she ran after Nishikata
"Wait where is the entrance?" Nishikata scanned around the maze for a entrance
"(Always oblivious to the most obvious things)" continued Takagi's. She pointed towards a fairly obvious sign reading
"Maze not finished yet!" it read
Nishikata though was too far to see what she was pointing at, so he circled the entire maze looking for a entrance
"(Aahh you are so clueless)" Takagi thought to herself, giggling when Nishikata tripped over a fallen sunflower that he tried to pick up
"Ahhhhh help Takagi-San!!!" He yelled as the he fell sideways into a large pile of sunflowers
She walked over to him to help him up
"Are you okay?" She sat down next to him
"Yeah I am fine" Nishikata replied
"Be careful where you walk" Takagi hinted
As Nishikata got up, an idea hatched in his head
"Hey let's play a game! Let's play Rock Paper Scissors with different punishments depending on what you lose with!
"(I have this in the bag, I will find the easiest punishment and use only that one! I will be barely risking anything , plus there is a good chance to win as well)" Nishikata strategies
"Ok, can I pick the punishments?"
"Ok, only two though" Nishikata stated
"For my punishment, if you lose to scissors, you have to get me a soda" Nishikata started
Takagi nodded before opening her mouth
"Kay for paper, you have to pinch the other person's cheek, and for rock, I will kiss you if you lose"
Takagi smiled
"What!? But what if I win for rock?" Nishikata questioned
"I will kiss you anyways" She stared him in the eye
"Wha... That means I can't play rock... it would look like I want to kiss her! And scissors is off limits as well! My only option is... Paper!" Nishikata thought to himself
"You ready?" Takagi asked
"Rock" I started
"Paper"
"Scissors!" We revealed our hands
Nishikata had paper, Takagi-san had... Scissors!"
"Guess I win~" Takagi smiled in triumph
"But I didn't think... you pick Scissors" Nishikata stumbled
"I predicted you correctly" Takagi replied
"l-let's get it over with" Nishikata started
"Hmm kay~" Takagi flirted as Nishikata closed his eyes in anticipation
Takagi got closer and closer to him, holding out her hands
Nishikata shook as he anticipated the pinch... "(Cmon, it has to happen..now! Or not? When is it happening!?)" Nishikata panicked, opening his eye, only to see Takagi only centimeters away from him
"Hurry up already!" He whined as he again closed his eyes
"Mm Kay, here I come~" she said as she approached him
"Mwah"
Nishikata's eye opened sharply
"I didn't remember if it was a pinch on the cheek or a kiss" Takagi started
"What!? That was a pinch right? That's what you needed to do" Nishikata explained
"Hmm I guess you are right!" Takagi answered
"(That was a pinch right?)" Nishikata thought again
"Well let's go home, it's getting late" Takagi told Nishikata
"Sure..." Nishikata replied as the two started to walk home
