I got my quail that I ordered in the mail today! They weren't supposed to be here for another month, so I wasn't very prepared. Missed half the school day from picking them up, shopping, and setting up their brooder (think that's the right word). Most of them are alive at the end of day 1, yay!

Does anyone irl know you're aroace? Yep, I came out to my best friend over the phone since I was living in a different state at the time. She took it very well. When I moved back to Tennessee, and I got to know my friend's boyfriend better, I came out to him. He was fantastic about it and asked questions while staying respectful. A few other people know since I'm more open about it in school. No one in my family (except my sister) nor people at my work (besides my old boss) knows.
What do you think about snails? I love snails! I lived for 13 years in the South with a bunch of snails around then I moved North where there weren't any at all. Moved back recently and I watched snails for hours. While I was at nerd camp, we went on a creek stomp and took some animals back to look at them under a microscope, I ended up with a baby snail that was just starting to grow its shell and it was so cool.
If you had to choose between cake or garlic bread, which will you choose? This is a very tough choice. Between some fresh baked, soft garlic bread and some generic cake, definitely garlic bread. But now if it's a Publix vanilla cake, that's a different story. Fun fact, I'm not really a bread person but garlic bread is the one bread I'll never get tired of.
