The smell of fresh breakfast could be smelt in the kitchen on Iftikhar Khan's home, making everyone hungry with the smell, Mariam, Iftikhar's Daughter was cooking for her family which includes Iftikhar, Mariam's Father, Naeema, Mariam's mother. Ujala, Mariam's elder Sister, And Affan Mariam's elder brother.
Footsteps could be heard from the stairs beside kitchen indicating that someone is coming making Mariam shiver in fear,she knew it was her so called father and mother who will again start shouting at her if a little inconvenience happened.
Setting these thoughts aside she greeted her parents who just came in the dining room where she was setting the table to have breakfast
"Assalam o alaikum Baba , Assalam o alaikum Ammi" she greeted only to be met by silence and not a mere glance
"Hey dad, mom" a loud voice said coming to the dining room
"Hey my child how are you Ujala my princess?" Asked Iftikhar
"Absolutely gorgeous as always dad" she said arrogantly eying Mariam
"Dad i want 10,000 rupees for shopping " said Ujala
"Sure bache why not I'll give you after breakfast" Iftikhar said
"Okay dad thanks" Ujala said
Everyone was present at the dining table and Mariam decided to ask her dad for a lift to her school where she is teaching
"Baba, can you take me to the school?i have to get early today and the bus arrives late" Mariam asked politely
"Dad No you have to take me to the basketball stadium today remember " Affan said loudly taking Everyone's attention
"Yes Mariam, Affan will go with Iftikhar you can take the bus as usual why do you even want to go early" Naeema said spitting venoms towards Mariam
"Its okay baba I'll take bus ,thank you" Mariam said
"First do the dishes and then go anywhere we don't care"Naeema replied again in the place of Iftikhar
"And Mariam, if i saw you anywhere except the school ,you won't like to face the consequences do you daughter " Iftikhar said and Mariam thought he just cursed him by calling her daughter
"Yes baba i know"Mariam replied
"Good"said Iftikhar
After having breakfast iftikhar and Affan went to their works, Ujala said her friends are having party so she went their and Naeema went to a parlour saying she was having facial
After doing the dishes Mariam also went to school where she was teaching and praying in her mind that today goes well

On the other hand Ahmed and Asma's world broke apart, a while ago they received a call saying there son Haris got into the accident.... they both reached hospital just to find out there lovely,bubbly son who was laughing in the morning ,running and making jokes making everyone's mood happy won't be happy for Allah knows how much long ...
They just find out that their son, their Haris won't be able to walk making them broke
"This can't happen Ahmed tell me it's just a joke my Haris won't be able to digest this please tell me" Asma said to Ahmed crying miserably
Ahmed hugged her and consoled her not know what to do because he knew that his son his heart was going to be shattered after this...

Haris got his consciousness after 3 hours and he didn't know how to react
"Baba, Ami tell me what's wrong with me? Why am i not able to feel my legs? Why? Tell me baba why ?what happened to me?? AMI BABA TELL ME DAMN IT"
Ahmed and Asma were crying looking at their son crying like their is no more hope for him
"Haris beta sabr karo Allah par yaqeen karo beta sab theek hojayega" (Haris Son have patience, keep your faith on Allah everything will be okay son) Ahmed tryed consoling his son
"Kuch theek nahi hoga baba, sab khatam hogaya, sab khatam hogaya,"(nothing is going to be alright baba, everything is ruined everything) Haris said
"Beta kuch nahi hua nothing is wrong keep faith in Allah my child" Ahmed said
"Baba i will always be depending on other, everyone will be tired of be and leave me one day, you will also leave me ami will also leave me everyone will be gone,"
Haris was crying and crying so the nurse gave him an injection to sleep for now he needed rest

Mariam was teaching her students when her friend also colleague Asiya came to her
"Mariam, you have to help me" Asiya said as soon as she came to Mariam
"What is it?Are you okay Asiya?" Mariam replied worriedly
"Oh No nothing is Alright Mariam my parents are getting me engaged and today the boy's Family will come to meet me and i have nothing to wear yar" Asiya whined
"So what do yo uwant me to do?" Said Mariam
"You have to come with me to shop for my clothes and stuff" Asiya commanded she didn't know about Iftikhar's threat
"No asiya I'm busy i ca-" Asiya cut her off
"No excuses you are coming with me i have already asked madam for our leave now come with me"Asiya said dragging Mariam with her
Mariam sighed knowing its now useless to argue with her and prayed silently that her father doesn't get to know
Little did she know that this is going to be the worst decision of her life
