Chapter 11

It was now time for Haris to leave

He was bidding his goodbyes to his mother and wife

"Don't worry Ami, i will be alright okay, you always told me to have faith in allah right now you too have faith in Allah he will do what will be better for us" Haris said while hugging his mother

"Now I'm going so take care of yourself and i will be back soon by my own feet not by this wheelchair okay" Haris said wiping the tears from Asma's eyes who nodded

He then looked at Mariam who was also having tears in her eyes

"Take care.... i will be alright" Haris said and Mariam nodded looking down

After a while they left leaving a crying Asma and Mariam back

They didn't know what will happen

They just hoped for everything to go well

One and a half month is passed and Haris wasn't back yet

He talked to his mother and Mariam but they still don't know if the operation is done or not

Haris told Ahmed and Hassan to keep it as a surprise for them

Haris had his operation the very next day after he went to Canada

And now after half a month he could walk on his own

In the start he had some difficulties but now he was walking without any problem

Ahmed, Hassan and Haris were beyond happy as Haris was back on his feet

They were going back today and Asma or Mariam still didn't knew anything

Haris was very excited to meet them like this

He was excited but nervous as well

He was thinking to confess his love to Mariam after going back

They were at the airport and the flight attendant announced to the passengers to be present in the airplane as they were about to take off

The three of them started going with excitement in their heart

'Its going to be a long journey' Haris thought and after the flight took off his eyes started getting heavy and he well into deep slumber

It was night time and Mariam couldn't sleep

She looked at the side where Haris would sleep and she missed him

The way he would try to calm her down by looking deep in her eyes and nodd

She was about to cry when he heard her room door open

"Mariam" it was Asma who called her

"G Ami" Asma said getting up and going towards her

"My heart is very anxious i don't know why and i can't sleep" Asma said
"Same ami....lets eat something while and watch TV" Mariam said to enlighten the mood of Asma and her as well

"I would love to" Asma said and they made their way towards the kitchen

After taking some snacks with them they went to the living room and played a movie

They were so engulfed in the scene that they didn't notice door opening and getting close

Ahmed, Hassan and Haris entered the house silently as they though Asma and Mariam would be sleeping but they were so wrong when they saw both of them crying over the hero dying

Mariam was hugging a cushion and sniffing which Haris found very cute and he chuckled looking at the only two womens in their life

Hassan slowly went towards the couch they were sitting on and shouted right between them making them bpth scream

"Hassan you idiot i almost died of fear" Mariam said and after sometime she realised that it was hassan

"Hassan?its you?" Matiam asked and looked at Asma who was looking behind Hassan with a smiling face and tears in her eyes

"Haris" Asma said as a mere whisper

Mariam followed her eyes and started crying out of joy because of what was infront of her

Haris standing on his own feet with all his glory

Asma ran and hugged her son crying hysterically

"Haris,Haris look you are standing Haris" Asma said while looking at haris feet and then kissing him all over his face

"Yes ami your Haris is back" Haris said while he also had small tears in his eyes whish he blinked away

Looked at Mariam and said " Mariam look my Haris he's back" Mariam nodded her head while smiling with tears of joy in her eyes

She looked at Haris who was also looking at her

She quickly looked away and said her greetings to Ahmed and Hassan

Asma was in no mood to let Haris go

"Darling I'm also here" Ahmed said smiling at the mother son duo

"And love you forgot about me" Hassan shouted slowly with an offended voice and a small pout on his face

"No Hassan how can i forget you" Asma finally left Haris and went towards Hassan engulfing him into a hug

"Yea Hassna she can't forget you but she did forget me" Ahmed said with fake sad voice

"Hassan did anyone say anything?" Asma asked innocently looking at Hassan

"No My love i didn't hear any old man" Hassan said Making everyone laugh except Ahmed

"Hey I'm not that old" Ahmed said

"Every old person say the same" Hassan said proudly and winked at Ahmed

"Its okay you both continue i also have my daughter beside me" Ahmed said and patted Mariam's head

Haris qas quick enough to pull Mariam towards him

"Sorry dad but your daughter is also taken" Haris said And smiled showing his perfect white teeth Making Ahmed smile

"So that means I'm alone" Ahmed said

Hassan and Haris immediately said 'yes' and laughed at each other

After talking and laughing for somw more time everyone went towards their respective rooms
