Sabeeha's POV
A week after
No one is at home. Mummy went out with the maids, daddy and Faisal are at work. So, i am literally home alone. I went to the kitchen to fill my plate with awara (tofu) with yaji (spice) and chilled zobo (hibiscus drink), then headed to the living room to complete Top Boy Season 2 on Netflix. I was done with the movie when Faisal walked in, he looks super stressed.
Hi bro, i greeted. You look so stressed and ugly, i joked with the ugly part
Hi baby, he replied taking a seat beside me
Do you want chilled zobo or water? I asked standing up heading towards the kitchen
Zobo is fine, he replied
Here, i said handing him a glass cup filled with zobo

Have you checked your NYSC call up letter on the portal? Faisal asked taking a sip from his cup
No, is it up? I asked
I heard that people are already seeing theirs, he replied

She went upstairs to her, picked up her laptop from the console. She opened the browser on her laptop to check the NYSC portal, she typed in her details then her phone started ringing. She checked the caller and it's no one other than Aisha. She picked after the third ring and she didn't say anything waiting for Aisha to start the convo
"Sabeeha, are you home?"
"Hi, I'm home"
"I'm at your gate, coming upstairs now"
"Okay"
She ended the call and dropped her phone beside her. After three minutes, she heard a knock on her door and ushered the person in. Aisha walked in wearing a black jeggings, black camisole, purple flowered kimono, of course with a matching turban and a matching bag. She moved awkwardly towards Sabeeha and took a seat opposite her.
"Hi"
"How are you, Aisha?"
"I'm fine and you"
"Alhamdulillah, I'm good"
"Uni has resumed and I'm moving back to the hostel. So, I decided to stop by to apologize for what happened the past week"
"Oh, it's nothing Aisha"
"Please, kindly find a space in your heart to forgive me"
"You didn't offend me, Ayush"
"I did offend you with all those insults"
"It's nothing serious"
Aisha stood up from her position, sat beside Sabeeha and took her hands in hers.
"I'm deeply sorry, sis. I didn't mean those words"
"I know"
"Does that mean you've forgiven me?"
"I've forgiven you way before now"
"Thank you and that's why i love you" pulling Sabeeha into a hug

"Let me start going, Mahmud is waiting at the gate"
"Oh, he's driving you to school"
"Yes, he's also a student of University of Abuja and he lives off campus" "A final year student tho"
