Chapter 3 Learning about this world

Next day.

Morning, 9:20 o'clock .

In Library. John is currently reading geography of the new world.

John's POV

After waking up , i asked around if there's one library in the village and thankfully there is one. At first i was fearing i wouldn't be able to read. But thankfully they have alphabet .

I was in this library over a one hour for sure, in that meantime i was able to pinpoint where i am, and what nations, continents and race's exist in this world.

First , continents , there are three known continents. West Continent, Central Continent, Easter Continent. And several large islands exist and minor islands not worth mentioning. Here in this world exist many races, such as Human, Demon ,Vampire, Dragon, Beast Man , Gods ,Monsters , Ogres and much more races.

I'm currently in Kingdom of Lios on Eastern Continent, in a village called Karn, we are pretty close to Demon Empire borders, Kingdom of Lios is strongest Human nation currently and has greatest number of Holy Knights.

Yes, Holy Knights, it's confirmed  . Every kingdom has hundreds of orders of Holy Knight , here in this world Holy Knights are something akin to a Adventurer, Mercenary . They fight for their Kingdom, they eliminate threats, accept private quests. 

You can either be solo Holy Knight or form your own Order of Holy Knights , but to form one you need at least 10x members.

Holy Knights are ranked by their power level, same for their Order, which is ranked by numbers of strong individuals and how many quests they managed to do.

I would be SS-Class Holy Knight, which isn't weak at all by Human stats. But true Monsters in this world are Demon King and Queen. DK has power level of 12,000x at least, he did in past defeat strongest Human with a power level of 10,000. But that was 2,000 years ago. Queen has power level of 7,000x at least.

We also have Dragon King as another contestant, with a power level of 6,000x at least.

While this all is extremely weak compared to SDS, here it's peak power.

History is pretty much scattered around, many parts of Human history are lost unfortunately . But there was a Great War 2,000x years ago between every race  against Demons. This was also war where Gods got supposedly extinct. Gods were another race, on par with Demon race in everything , they had white angelic wings as show of their divinity.

There is more about information about this world, but it would be boring to disclose everything. wouldn't it?

'It's over, reward was 200x silver coins if i read book in library, or better yet learn about this world.' I though as i closed this geography book, and taking both history and geography book with me to Librarian.

"Excuse me, how much are these two books?  There was paper where it was written that library is selling it's books.." I asked librarian, an old man with glasses.

"Both of them together are 1x silver coin." Answered librarian , 

"Here." I said before giving him one coin, and leaving library.

'I will go to Inn, eat something for breakfast and leave for next town, where i would begin my Holy Knight career.  And later when i summon 10x people  i will create my own order." I though before fasting my steps .' The town called Ritas.'

'Accept, this is too good to decline.' i though before asking system.' How poweful character i'm able to customize with 10,000 SP?'

[User, it depends on Power Level, battle experience, Intelligence, Magic. If yo yourself customize a character with 10,000 SP you could even create a Holy Knight with 1,200 Power Level, but it would be useless as that power level would either be derived from just strength or spirit.]

'I understand . So in other words it would be just a mindless husk with zero intelligence, and either 1,200 power level in spirit or strength, what's strongest character I can summon from sds with 10,000x SP?'

[User, that would Golgius. 1.230x SP will still be left, it should be enough to improve him in either intelligence or Power Level.]

'Golgius, oh yes i remember him. He's Holy Knight with magic , invincibility . While he's not strongest or anything he could useful in few regards.  He should suffice .'

I though just in time as i reached Inn, Hostess

"Hello, i would like standard breakfast." I voiced my order to Waiter who was already giving out breakfasts to other customers.

'Not a problem Sir, please take a sit." Replied Waiter before walking  off to their cook..

'Maybe, just maybe i should buy a horse. No, no, i don't possess a stall for it. I should catch one carriage , maybe merchant carriage?' Ritas is 34km away from here, it would take too much time to reach it on foot, it might be faster for me because of my strength but i do not want to waste it, as i could still be attacked by monsters or bandits..

As i was lost in my thoughts , time passed and breakfast was served to me.

"Here sir, it would be 2x silver coins." Stated Waiter , serving a two plates, one with salad, and other with eggs and bacons.

Few minutes later after John finished his breakfast.

"Waiter, do you by any chance know merchant or someone with carriage that is going to Ritas soon?"  I asked Waiter, i mean this is the Inn, the only one in the whole village, they must know one or three rumors.

"Ye-" Just before Waiter was able to respond another person responded instead. It was a woman, who responded.

"Yes, i'm going in a half an hour.  I can transport you there, but it won't be free." Responded Woman, from the looks of it, she could be in her early thirties, with  long shoulder length hair, color blonde, and  is wearing what could be described as merchant outfit with cape , all brown in color.

"I'm Linda, a merchant from Karn." Linda stated before moving closer to John, and extended her hand for handshake, who John returned.

"I'm Hendrickson, a traveler." It did take me a moment to decide how to call myself. This is new life i'm going into, i have body of Hendrickson and for his honor i decided to keep it , plus John doesn't sound medieval like Hendrickson does.
