Youtou High School...

Hiroshi stood in the General Education Department Interview Room in front of the teachers who graded his enternance exam.
"I'm Hiroshi Shirotaka. "

They looked at him as if they were disappointed, and one of them chose to speak first.
"Boy, you have the standard score of 41.
Quite lucky if you ask me. "

Hiroshi acted like he felt relieved even though it was his full intention to get that exact score.
"Is that so?! I'm glad then."

Another teacher spoke, looking seriously into the boy's eyes.
"May I ask why you applied to this school?"

Hiroshi chuckled as he saw them.
"I'm quite interested in studying here, that's all."

With that said, the teacher approved him, and he left that room.

Hiroshi stretched his arms and walked through the hallway.
"They looked down on me a lot even though I passed.
That kind of exam was easier than breathing for me, but I don't want to stand out at least for now. "

He went to the front gate and turned back to take a last look at the school.
"With that said, I didn't particularly lie when I said that I was interested in this school .
Many talented students enrol in this school every year .There are many things to explore and many different people to encounter. "

It's been one week since Hiroshi left his home and went to Tokyo.
He found a nice dorm and settled there. And soon enough, he adapted himself to life in Tokyo.

He went into his own room and relaxed a bit.
The room is dimly lit, Hiroshi, then, sat in front of a desk cluttered with books, papers, and a computer. Hunched over the computer, his eyes filled with determination.
"We should do a little exploration now."

Hiroshi typed furiously, his fingers danced across the keyboard. He was on a mission to uncover the truth about the tragic event that occurred years ago-the murder of the famous idol, the talented singer, Ai Hoshino.

The murder had been committed by one of her obsessive fans, and the case had never been fully solved.
"An obsessive fan, huh?

Well, people can be this insane."

The computer screen illuminated Hiroshi's face as various search results appear. He clicked on news articles, forum threads, and old interviews, devouring any information related to Ai.
Soon enough, he managed to get a full picture of who Ai was.

A girl who was raised in an orphanage and blessed with good looks.
Her past explained a lot about her demeanour.
But still Hiroshi felt something missing.
Aside from wanting to know more about her, he wanted to know why he felt drawn to her in the first place.
He stopped searching for a moment and looked at the ceiling.
"It's funny how I'm searching about her like creepy stalker too. "

The First Day of School...
All the new students were gathered in a huge hall together for the Enternance Ceremony.

Hiroshi stood quiet as he looked around all the new students.
He noticed many of them were famous, beautiful, and talented .
"This is going to be interesting."

After the ceremony ended, every student went to their appointed classrooms.
As Hiroshi hurriedly made his way through the bustling school corridor, engrossed in thoughts of what he searched yesterday, his thoughts became the sole focus of his attention. Oblivious to his surroundings, he collided with a girl, sending her books and papers scattering across the floor.

The collision jolted the girl out of her usual detached state, and she blinked, surprised by the sudden interruption to her solitude. As she glanced down at the mess of fallen books and papers, her eyes met Hiroshi's inquisitive gaze. His deep red eyes sparkled with curiosity, his mind already racing to understand this enigmatic girl before him.
In front of him stood this beautiful girl with waist-length dark-green hair that she wore loose with her bangs parted on the right side, and had yellow-green eyes with slit-like pupils resembling a cat and two beauty marks, one on the lower right side of her lips and one under her left eye.

"Oh, I'm terribly sorry," Hiroshi apologized sincerely, his voice filled with genuine concern.
"I was completely lost in thought. Let me help you pick these up."
That girl initially taken aback by Hiroshi's directness hesitated for a moment before nodding in acknowledgement. Together, they began to gather the scattered books, their hands occasionally brushing against each other as they worked in tandem.

Hiroshi, with his natural curiosity getting the better of him, couldn't help but break the silence. "I don't think we've met before. I'm Hiroshi Shirotaka. Are you new here, too?"

The girl glanced at Hiroshi briefly, her eyes conveying a hint of surprise at his unexpected interest. She took a moment to compose herself before softly responding, "I'm Frill Shiranui. Yes, it's my first day."

As soon as Hiroshi heard her name, he recognised her immediately.
(Wait, she is that multi-talented performer who can sing, dance, and act.
Keeping her company would be a good idea.)

He acted politely while looking at her.
"Well, Shiranui-san, we both are freshmen in here, so we should get along!
If you ever need any help or have any questions, feel free to ask.
I'm always eager to learn and assist others."

Frill regarded Hiroshi with a mix of intrigue and scepticism. She mostly liked finding comfort in her own company. However, something about Hiroshi's behaviour and intellectual aura sparked a flicker of curiosity within her.

"Thank you," Frill responded quietly, her voice carrying a touch of vulnerability.
"I'll keep that in mind."

With the books and papers gathered, the unlikely duo stood up, and Hiroshi handed Frill her belongings. Their eyes met again, and this time, there was a hint of a smile playing at the corners of Frill's lips.
(I haven't heard of this guy anywhere, but I'll definitely keep an eye on him.)

Inside a classroom...
Aqua Hoshino sat alone at a desk in the middle of the room. He gazed out the window, lost in his own thoughts, his brow furrowed with a mix of curiosity and lost in thoughts.
(Ai... )

In that moment, Hiroshi entered his classroom.
As the last one to come, everyone's attention went to him.
Seeing everyone immediately greeting him, Aqua looked at this guy, too.

His initial thought, as he observed Hiroshi, was a mixture of intrigue and curiosity.

"He seems different," Aqua thought, his eyes narrowing ever so slightly. Hiroshi's aura exuded an air of quiet confidence, his presence commanding attention without any overt effort. Aqua sensed an intelligence that mirrored his own, and a spark of anticipation ignited within him.

Aqua couldn't help but wonder what lay beneath Hiroshi's composed exterior. He yearned to delve into the depths of Hiroshi's mind, and maybe he could be a great help for him toward his one goal.

Hiroshi introduced himself to his classmates, leaving a good first impression on everyone, and soon enough, the class started.

The lessons were easy, and so Aqua didn't pay much attention to what the teacher was saying. The teacher noticed that and asked him to answer one question.

Aqua was caught off guard and didn't know how to answer, and in that very moment, Hiroshi stood up and answered it correctly instead.
The teacher praised Hiroshi, and he striked a look at Aqua like a predator looking at its prey.
"That one was easy. Even an animal could know that."

Aqua knew that his words were pointed indirectly at him and smirked, accepting his challenge.
( If this is how you want to play.
Bring it on then ! )

Was this a declaration of war or the beginning of a rivalry ?
