Hanni was having a hard time concentrating on her piano playing since the girl who was playing the guitar three seats over was distracting her. The last thing Hanni expected was for Kim Minji to step foot in her music class.

She couldn't help but glance over at Minji who seemed to be avoiding her gaze since she spotted her earlier. Minji seemed to catch on very quick, glancing only at her music sheet a few times before she memorized how to play the chorus. Hanni was still staring at Minji when her fingers missed a key and threw off the entire class.

"Sorry," Hanni mumbled turning red. She hated that the piano was always the loudest in the room, so it was obvious when she made a mistake.

"It's alright, that's why we practice," Mr. Han said raising his baton, conducting the class to start again.

Hanni resumed her playing and looked at Minji again and was surprised to find her looking back. Minji gave her a little smile before averting her eyes back to the music stand.

The bell rang signaling the end of the class and everyone scrambled off desperate to get to lunch. Minji gathered her things and started to leave the room when Mr. Han stopped her.

"Ms. Kim, can you stay for a while?"

Minji gripped the strap of her bag impatiently. She wasn't going to have time to eat lunch if this took long. "Um, sure," she said reluctantly.

"Ms. Pham, can you stay too?" he asked before Hanni could leave the classroom.

Hanni looked at the teacher and then at Minji. She had no idea what he could possibly want from the both of them.

"Yes, Mr. Han?" She stood beside Minji, who had once again, avoided her gaze.

"As you know, we have a concert in two weeks-"

Minji couldn't help but snort and Mr. Han narrowed his eyes at her. "Is there a problem, Ms. Kim?"

Minji bit her lip guiltily. "Um, no, I just didn't know you guys had concerts."

"Well, we do, and considering you just joined us and are very behind, you have little time to learn all our songs." He handed her a folder filled with papers. "These are all the songs we're doing but there's a lot of revisions."

Minji frowned as she flipped through all the music. "I can't learn all these in two weeks," she said.

Mr. Han smiled at Hanni who looked at him confused. "This is where Ms. Pham comes in."

"Huh?" Both girls said surprised.

"Well, Hanni is the only one who knows all the parts considering she plays the piano, I want her to work with you on the songs so you can perform with us at the concert," Mr. Han explained.

There were so many things that could go wrong with this, that Minji had no idea where to start. "I think I can learn these songs myself," she said taking a look at the sheets again. "Hanni doesn't have to help me."

Hanni looked at her curiously. She was sure that Minji would jump at the opportunity to work with her. "I don't mind," Hanni said without thinking and Minji looked at her surprised. "I mean," she cleared her throat. "If it helps you learn the songs faster, I don't mind helping you out."

"Alright then," Mr. Han said while clapping his hands together. "Thank you, Hanni. You girls can go to lunch now."

"So do you want to meet after school?" Minji asked once they left the classroom.

Suddenly realizing the situation she was thrown in, Hanni became very nervous. "Oh, um, I have a student council meeting after school."

"Oh, right," Minji said a bit disappointed. "Well, whatever time works for you, just let Danielle know."
