9: 11:37 (based on a real experience!)

He dreamed of a blissful life ,
But it ends before it starts
His normal and joyful days ,
Now filled with obvious pains
It was so sudden ,
He can't even fathom how
In just a second ,
His life have changed
Just like a struck of lightning ,
The course have shifted
A once optimistic man ,
Becomes a completely different person!

It was a normal day of his college life ,
He went home early but slightly fell not right
By trying his best ,
His health was compromise.
It was a peaceful evening ,
Only the sound of crickets heard
At exactly 11:37 ,
That night turns to worse.

Suddenly... he woke up ,
He felt something different
His throat is itching ,
His cough's gotten worse
Before he knew it ,
Blood splattered on his bed sheet
His head was spinning ,
He's on the verge of fainting!

But he still hold on ,
And calls for help
He's voice echoed inside his house ,
It awakes his parents
They immediately rushed ,
Shocked by what they witnessed
Their son is vomiting like hell ,
He's slowly weakening!

Then they immediately help him ,
They try to do what they can
The house is in a mess ,
His siblings are crying now
The scene was too horrible ,
It caused them to panicked
He tried to recall ,
But his mind went blank
And before he knew it ,
He was rushed to the hospital.

A few days later ,
He was already admitted
He was diagnosed ,
With a terrible illness
He hated that part ,
When the doctor tells him
He couldn't even cry ,
His tears are useless
He knew he was sick ,
A sickness he couldn't imagine.

He wants to give up ,
He felt so helpless
' Why me of all people?! ' ,
He question himself
The first weeks are hellish ,
He hates the smell of the ward
It's filled with utter sickness ,
And people just like him
It took him so long ,
It was not easy
But his family's constant care ,
Gives him hope even a slimmer
Then days go on ,
He was slowly recovering
But it's different now ,
The medication takes almost a year
The process was excruciating ,
And the effects is exhausting
It was also so painful ,
But he has to endure it all
He felt a less lonely though ,
Cuz his friends visits him
It was a long battle ,
But he hold on till the end
He then recovered ,
But things will be different.

As he looked back ,
He's quite regretful
For the sake of his dreams ,
He didn't took good care of his body
It was his negligence ,
His mistake on his part
It already happened ,
But thank God he did survived.
But things are not the same thing ,
His lifestyle has changed
And the worst part is ,
His personality completely changed.
The once prideful one ,
Become moody and pessimistic
It was a handful ,
But his family trust the process.
He lost a lot of himself ,
It was so evident
His laugh has gone ,
His demeanor is worrying
You can see in his eyes ,
All the pain and sufferings
There scared of what's coming ,
He might ' end ' it all!
Each night he cried silently ,
His family knew
They tried to console him ,
But he want to be alone
It goes on like that ,
It took months of waiting.
Then suddenly he opens up to them ,
He wants to keep living
He knew it won't be easy ,
But his family supports him
It's a new beginning ,
A different lifestyle than before
His happiness may lost ,
But his will is still strong.

His lifestyle is different now ,
He's more cautious than before
His health is more fragile ,
So he needs to be careful
There's a lot of ' cannot do's ' already ,
But he tried to comply
It's a long journey ,
But he has all the time.
As he looked back ,
That night was a nightmare
But because of that ,
He learned an important lesson
It's good to be productive ,
But you need to take care of yourself first
Studies are necessary ,
But your life is more important.

The days are new beginnings now ,
He's quite so grateful
It was an unfortunate situation ,
But it changed his views
He learned it the hard way ,
A lesson in life to uphold
For all the help he got ,
It was all worth while
Their constant support lifts him up ,
Those prayers are his salvation
To his family and friends ,
Who never stops supporting him
Because of that ,
He's slowly moving on
He wants to keep on living
Just keep living and living ,
Until he finds a new purpose
Up to this day ,
It's still a tedious journey
But he is not alone ,
He knew ...
He knew he's not that unfortunate
He may hit rock bottom ,
But they saved him from the edge of the cliff
For all the things that they've done ,
He wants to keep going
Until he's still breathing ,
Until he finds his motivation again
And for all their sacrifices ,
He's forever grateful!..
