Fire and ashes,
Crowns and sashes,
Golds and glitters,
Blush and eye flutters.
You didn't see the queen,
When she wore all her dreams.
Rather you saw a jeweled figurine,
With sequins and gleams,
But the queens are queens.
Soirees and gowns,
Lies and breakdowns,
Rubies and diamonds,
Beauty and legends.
You didn't see her thunder,
When she touched down all the peaks.
Rather you saw her blunder,
With cracks and creaks,
But the queens are queens.
Hold her hands
And make her dance
Lose the sneer
And fight that fear
Pick those flowers
And see her powers
Because the queens are queens
We see life in the beauty of things.
