♡05. I'll Lead The Way, Just Take My Hand♡

Clasped within the suffocating walls,
She heard the voices and the bell tolls,
Banged on it until she couldn't recall,
Wondering if it's an empty noise if at all.
Sway left and sway right,
Where really is her light?
When a serene voice said,
"I'll lead the way, just take my hand."

Startled, she shook the paper thin walls,
She was unclear how they stood for so long.
Wonderstruck, she saw a smiling face,
On the other side, he stood like a saving grace.
Move back and move forth,
Who was beyond her little fort?
When a serene voice said,
"I'll lead the way, just take my hand."

Sad, she broke down into uncontrollable sobs,
She had held onto her pain like an oath.
At that moment, she reached out for him,
With a majestic flute in his hand, he did the same.
Look up and look down,
Who was he, a shadow of dawn?
When a serene voice said,
"I'll lead the way, just take my hand."

Taking his hand, she tried to set free,
But her hope wavered when she couldn't completely escape
The blue aura glowed around him as he smiled,
"Don't flicker your light if you wish to leave here, my child."
Flicker in and flicker out,
Until her light stayed put.
When a serene voice said,
"I'll lead the way, just take my hand."

He said,
"Escaping these walls is easy for me,
As they are made by you,
A stranger is treated nicely,
But you hold yourself too strictly.
No expectations, whatsoever of me,
But infinite barricades locking you in.
I cannot get you out,
Unless you let me in.
I'll lead the way, just take my hand,
Let me be your flute, a musical whisper in your mind."

Soon enough, the walls melted,
And there was the quiet she needed.
It was just a swish of air,
But there was a tranquil whisper,
"Hold my hand forever and the path will be clear."
