Bailey, get up, we've got school! Bella yells through my door. I groan, dragging myself out of bed, stretching. It's only 6:30 we don't have school until 7:45

I head over to my bathroom and take a long hot shower. Once I was done, I climb out and dried my hair before throwing on some jeans and a T-shirt.

Damn, I just bought this shirt. It shouldn't be so tight, I thought, grabbing my bag, making sure I had everything before heading downstairs for breakfast.

I see Bella grabbing her bag before she disappears out the door. Well, so much for help to navigate school.

I head into the kitchen, where I spot bacon on the counter with a note.

Headed to the station early to help deal with all the disappearances in Seattle – Dad

I grab the bacon, wrapping it in a paper towel before heading out the door to my truck. Heading off towards school.

I decide to stop for coffee first since school is only 10 minutes from the coffee shop, and I've still got 30 minutes before school starts

Pulling into the parking lot of Remi's coffee shop, I put my truck in park, grab my wallet and headed inside

Hey Rem, I happily say, walking up to the counter to the girl I've known since I was 6 who used to babysit me

Dad offered her the job when she was 15 to babysit me and Bella. I always liked her, but Bella never really did.

Hey B, she says, excitedly handing some man his coffee before coming around to hug me

When did you get back, she asks as we pull away, walking behind the counter? Yesterday I stopped to see you and get some coffee before school.

Are you here for good, or are you going back? She asks, going around making my coffee.

I'm staying, gonna finish out my senior year, and then I'll figure it out from there I say as she walks up handing me my coffee

It's good to have you back, but I believe if you stay any longer you'll be late for school she says, gesturing to the clock on the wall

O shit I have to go bye Remi I yell, running out the door, jumping into my truck and speeding off towards school.

Swinging into the parking lot, I grab my bag and jump out the truck, heading towards the door. I ruffle around my bag to make sure I have everything and bump into a solid chest.
