In 1997 a Greek woman gave birth to a beautiful girl, named after her origins, she was given the name Athena. The midwife of the small village where the family lived while holding Athena granted them the title of winter daughter, being the only child who was born in that turbulent period, other children could not resist the hostile climate of the region, only she passed the seventh day of birth.
Athena grew up and tried as hard as she could to give a better life to her family, they lived on the humblest side of the village and depended on work in the coal mines. She wanted a move and dedicated herself to getting a scholarship in Paris, bringing together all the savings she can to get to the city.
She was a prodigy, the result of her own effort, an effort that could guarantee a good future.
At the age of twenty-two Athena graduated in medicine.
