So kind and sweet,
Mending what's incomplete.

You tried to stitch back my pieces with some threads of compliments,
But you forget that I was made of glass and once broke you can't restore my parts.

Pink and Yellow threads,
You tried to uplift with each caring string.
It's just that my pieces couldn't cling.

You wove your words with care, so tender and kind,
But the cracks remained, no matter what you'd find.

I appreciate your efforts,
I truly do,
But some wounds are deeper,
Impossible to undo.

So please understand, it's not your fault.
That my broken parts couldn't be exalted.
Compliments can't fix what's already broken,
But I know your intentions were truly spoken.
