I haven't seen you in a while,
How'd seven years just passed by?
Standing on a busy street,
Faded lanes, I forgot to breathe.

The lights were green,
But I just watched you walk like a beautiful scene.
"Look back", I whispered
I'm already a stranger.
Standing yet shattered,
Forlorn pretender.

It was a lesson learned,
To never love a friend,
Because you'll lose both.

Oh Alessandra,
You always love poetry,
But never my poems.
