(name) stood in front of the school 'Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School' a name way too long in her option. She looked different from when she was a kid; her hair was longer, and instead of putting it in a bun, she kept it loose. She wore a crown-type headband in her head her clothing, green and gold.

She was supposed to start going to school last year, but her family and her clan didn't let her. After confronting the head of the clan, Naobito Zenin, he gave up and just let her do whatever she wanted, but of course they couldn't have her being too cocky, so they made her a grade 4, the lowest, even though everyone in the clan knew she was stronger than that, but to her, it was whatever. As long as she got to prove her clan wrong, she would throw anything.

but currently she stood in front of the principal of the school, Yaga Masamichi. From what she could sense, he seemed to be drawing something. She wasn't too concerned about that right now; all she needed to do was pass this interview, and that's what she's focused on right now.

"(name) Zenin, nice to meet you." She made a slight wave to be friendly and looked at the ground.

"Why did you want to be a jujutsu sorcerer?" (name) sighed. Why does she want to be a sorcerer? She could have lived a basic life in her clan, only having to do a few chores, but before she could think any more about it, something high speed came towards her. Before she could react, it punched her in the stomach, making her back away a few inches.

Now, Yaga wasn't dumb. He knew this girl was blind; almost everyone in the sorcery world knew that, but he wasn't going to go easy on her. From what he heard, she was strong, and if she was only sent a few inches away from a full punch to the stomach, then he assumed the rumors were true.

"Why did you do that?" She was clearly pissed off, but she was very disappointed in herself for not sensing it fast enough.

"You were taking too long; I don't have all day." The doll sprinted towards her again, aiming for her face, but before his fist could come into contact, she caught it before hitting it with a punch of her own. She grabbed the metal out of her pocket, forming it into a small knife, before stabbing it in its head and dragging the metal knife to its stomach, killing it.

"To answer your question, I want to be a jujutsu sorcerer to prove my family wrong. I want to become stronger than all of them, so they all feel humiliated that a blind girl like me surpassed them and maybe make friends along the way," she said proudly.

This made Yaga smile. "You pass, and I will show you your room later. Walk around and get to know the place."

She probably already walked through the entire school, but there wasn't a single sound or person anywhere. She thought that maybe, there just on a mission, people were saying curses were appearing more and more, until she sensed someone near the stairs that go to the training grounds.

It didn't seem like the girl knew someone was behind her. She had short black hair and eyes, and she had a white shirt with sweat pants from the smell she was smoking. She was very pretty in (name's) option.

(Name) made her presence known by walking up to the girl and saying, "You know smoking kills your palette."

The girl didn't look up from her spot. "Then my palette shall die happily."

(name) sat down next to her, smiling at the comment. "So what's your name?" (name) asked.

"Why would I tell you that?" The girl finally looked at (name). The first thing she realized was how beautiful this girl was: her cute smile and silky hair, yet when she looked at her eyes, they were grey. Her first thought 'was,'she can't be blind, right?'

as if reading her thoughts (name) said, "In case you're wondering if I'm blind or not, I am."

"Well, my name is Shoko. Are you new here?" She didn't ask any questions, not wanting to be rude.

"My name is (name) Zenin; you can just call me by my first name, though I don't really like my clan."

They sat in silence watching the sunset. It was a beautiful sunset. Shoko passed a cigarette to (name). You put it in your mouth. She lights it for you. You draw the smoke in your before gently puffing it out, making you cough gently.

Shoko and you sat there for a few more minutes before you heard the principal calling for you to get up and follow his voice. Maybe it was worth ruining your palate to hang out with a pretty girl like her.

Yaga showed you your room; it was all made of wood, which wasn't good for you in any way. He said he couldn't do anything about it, but it pissed you even more that the principal of the place didn't even do anything to help his student.

Your uniform was pretty good. They gave you a long skirt and a long sleeve shirt to go with it. You laid down in bed tomorrow, as your first day of class might as well get a good sleep. While you were at it, you closed your eyes. Darkness consumed you while you dreamed, not knowing that tomorrow your life would get a little more chaotic.
