Summary: Rain is sitting in the stands with her parents during the Blackhawks VS Devils game when Brendan Smith breaks Connor's jaw

Rains POV:

My parents and I are sitting in the stands at the Devils and Blackhawks game. My parents are obviously rooting for the Devils, while I am rooting for the Blackhawks. My mom is wearing Jacks jersey while my dad is wearing Luke's. I'm of course wearing Connor's jersey. The game starts and Nico won the face off against Jason Dickinson, the game stops for an offside call. Connor and Jack are doing the next face off and Connor wins.

After about 10 minutes Connor has the puck and is skating through center ice and Brendan Smith hits Connor with his shoulder and sends him down to the ice. Connor jumps right back up holding his jaw "Oh my god" I say freaking out "Sweetie it's okay I'm sure he's fine." My mom says trying to calm me down. "Mom there's no way he's fine!" I tell her. I start to hyperventilate from panicking, "Rain breathe he's gonna be fine." My dad tells me.

The period ends and my phone starts ringing. "Connor oh my god are you okay?" I immediately say into the phone."Hey Rain it's Kevin, Connor asked me to call you." "Is he okay why isn't he talking to me?" I question "Uhh he's gonna be fine the hit broke his jaw." Kevin tells me and I gasp. "Is he okay?" My mom asks me, I slightly pull my phone away and tell them that he broke his jaw. "What hospital are they taking him to? I'll meet him there." I don't know." He responds "He's telling me that he'll be fine and for you to hang out with your family." "No I need to be with him." I say "He just wrote on a piece of paper that if you try to go to the hospital he'll tell security you're some random fan." Kevin says "He would definitely have me escorted out." "Yeah he would." I pause for a few moments before I say, "Okay well tell him I love him, and to text me when he gets out of the hospital." "He says he loves you too and he'll text you." He says

Let's just say the rest of the game wasn't very good for the Blackhawks or the Devils. Nick Foligno got into a fight with Smith and left the game, among other fights and penalties Jack also got hurt. "This game sucks." I tell my parents they both laugh. "Well it's certainly an interesting game." Once the game ends with the Devils winning me and my parents walk down and into the family section waiting for Jack and Luke. Mom looks at me and says "Don't say anything about Jack getting hurt as payback for Connor getting hurt." She knows me too well "Mother I'm offended you think I would." I tell her "Oh please Rain we know you better than you think." My dad says "Yeah whatever." I roll my eyes

After a while Jack and Luke walk out, and hug our parents and ask Jack if he's okay. Jack slightly hold his arms out asking me for a hug. "No." I say to him with my arms crossed over my chest. "Uhh rude I didn't do anything?" Jack says "Mmm debatable." I tell him. Luke try's to give me a hug, but I push him off. "I'm mad and you guys right now. And I hate Brendan Smith."
