Fallout equestria: Rise of the Machines

Chapter 4

It was the next morning and Kipo and Dark sky decided to traveled together but only for a bit, it was Kipo's idea she wanted to make sure that Dark sky the edgy pegasus was feeling better after being tortured by those horrible monsters and Dark sky only allowed this because she did save her life and was thankful even if she didn't really say it out loud. Kipo was humming cheerfully while trotting next to Dark sky while Dark sky had an small annoyed look on her face "ugh...Kipo can you please just stop with the humming, you been singing that for three hours now..." groaned Dark sky with her head and ears down "oh sorry Dark Sky sometimes I just can't help myself" said Kipo with a smile on her face, Kipo's balefire Phoenix friend flew over them watching from above for any kind of danger "so...you really did save some foals from slavers?" Asked Dark Sky "yep I did, I had to...take out the slavers...I didn't want to but I knew if I didn't they might just take just take more foals or...." Kipo didn't want to imagine what else could those evil slavers do to those poor foals or anypony for that matter...unless they already have done something much worse, Kipo quickly shook her head trying to get those scary thoughts out of her head. "I don't blame you...even if you never killed anyone before, but you did the right thing okay? Remember those weren't ponies, those were monsters" said Dark sky calmly and mysterious like, Kipo couldn't help but make a goofy smile at her, she just loved how mysterious, calm and edgy this Pegasus was, she was somepony she wanted to be, but she was also just fine being her cheerful happy self. 

"What are you staring at?" Asked Dark Sky "uh nothing!" Said Kipo a little embarrassed, she also noticed that she was wagging her tail like puppy dog and quickly stopped herself "you should be careful about where your aiming that thing" said Dark sky walking away "sorry, but I do know how to control my tail" said Kipo following her. As they kept walking in the empty equestrian wasteland Kipo's Phoenix friend landed on a nearby tree and started to grooming her feathers "so what's her name?" Asked Dark Sky "her name? I don't know I haven't really thought of one yet" said Kipo as they both looked at the balefire Phoenix "how about blaze? Or maybe torch?" Said Dark sky "those are good names, but they sound a little too obvious...hm?" Said kipo taking a moment to think to herself with her hoof to her mouth "hey is her eyes supposed to be a pink color?" "Huh?" Kipo looked up at the Phoenix and noticed that her eyes seemed to gone from gold to a light pink color "wow you're right...but I swear her eyes were gold before, how did they become pink? Gasp you don't think she sick is she?" Said Kipo with worry "I don't think so but why not try using that scanner of yours?" Said Dark sky "oh right I forgot!" Said Kipo as began to focus on her Phoenix friend and carefully scanned her "my health scanner says that she is just fine" said Kipo "told you" said Dark sky. Dark sky began to looked around and saw what look like a little town, a very little town "let's head over there I wanna see if there anything useful" said Dark sky "okay sure" said Kipo. Kipo, Dark sky,  and the balefire Phoenix we're now in a very tiny if you can call it a town, it only had a five old houses one abandoned shop and a few abandoned wagons, Dark sky headed for the old shop and went inside as Kipo followed behind.

The shop was in ruins, fallen shelves, broken windows and trash everywhere, Kipo saw the back door and went to check it out "back room employee's only...well no one is working here anymore" said kipo as she floated the case of lock picks from her saddlebag and started picking the lock, Dark sky opened a crate and inside was empty wine bottles "seriously why would this store sell empty wine bottles? Well better make use of it" with her hooves Dark sky started taking the bottle caps from the wine bottles, putting in a small bag and put it in her battle saddle bag "ugh come on! Why won't this lock...got it!" Said Kipo as she finally opened the back door, Dark sky put some wine bottles in her battle saddle and walked to Kipo "ta-da!" Said kipo with a her left metal hoof in the air enthusiastically "whoa.." said Dark sky as she looked in the room it was dark but Kipo managed to find the light switch with her radar and turned on the lights, the lights were a little dim and one light just kept flickering as Dark sky and Kipo began to look around the back room, it was like finding buried treasure the room had lots of water bottles, medical stuff and cans of foods. Dark sky quickly took some cans of food and water in her battle saddle "hey look I found this weird looking magnet it think it's a bottle opener" Said Kipo as floated the bottle opener to Dark sky, the bottle opener was shaped like a cute little teddy bear with a metal opener on it and a magnet on the back "hmm I got an idea" said Dark sky as she walked closer to Kipo, Kipo got a little nervous but then Dark sky put the magnet bottle opener on her metal ear "not bad" said Dark sky with a small laugh "looks good on you" said Dark sky took out an old broken make up mirror and Kipo looked at her reflection, she saw the teddy bear magnet hanging from her left ear making it look like an earring Kipo couldn't help but laughed as well. Suddenly both Kipo and Dark sky heard the balefire Phoenixies distress cry from outside "oh no! Girl!" Said Kipo as she quickly gave Dark sky the magnet back and ran back outside, Dark sky quickly grabbed the medical supplies. Kipo was now outside "Phoenix? Phoenix! Where are you girl?!" Callout Kipo as she looked around looking for her friend. Suddenly Kipo saw her Phoenix friend flying above her making cries as she was being chased by dozens of ugly bloated looking bugs, Phoenix used her radiation fire breathing to burn most of the bugs into ashes but still got swam by a some of them slowly crashing to the ground "no! Leave her alone!" Said Kipo using to her tail to blast at the bugs off her bird friend but then suddenly some of the bugs were shot to death.
