October will return again,
and still I'm lost in confusion,
unsure if your feelings were real
or mere illusion!
At times, I wonder,
Who is the red flag amongst us?
Is it you or me?
You, with another love
hidden in shadows,
Or I, seeking answers
I knew I couldn't have?
From my point of view,
all I can think is that you want
a well-off girl to marry
in the eyes of society,
while I was supposed to be
your little secret,
no one would ever know.
The realization that my thoughts
have led me to this conclusion is
a major turn-off for me,
tearing my heart apart and
pushing me to sever ties with you.
However, deep down,
I truly hope and pray that
your version of the story
differs from what I am thinking!
