You're not my home anymore,
Now, I am standing by the cold shore.
Sunsets feel a little different,
Marlboro on my left hand, an alien scent.Guess what?
Saw the neighbor's dogs today,
Now lost for words, don't know what to say.
Been drinking Coke Zero for days,
Love puts me in a daze.I asked the guys at your favorite bar, did I deserve it?
Maybe I am cursed, they're right.
In the corridors of memory, I ache to trace
the version of myself untouched by your face.
