Unexpected

You were driving back from dinner out with your family back to camp

You had just texted Steph back that you were on your way back to camp when a car ran a red light and hit the back of your car causing you to spin and hit a side rail

The airbag goes off and your world goes dark

Everything was moving in slow motion it felt like

You wake up to firefighters cutting open your door

Your head was throbbing

"Ma'am are you alright" one of the firefighters asks after prying the door off

"I...I think so" you say holding your forehead

They help you to sit on the curb

"Who should we call to come get you" the firefighters asks

"Um I'll call my teammates" you say shaken

You call Steph your captain

She didn't answer so you called Ellie

"Y/n where are you" Ellie asks worried

"I I got in a wreck" you say crying

"Oh my god are you okay" Ellie asks

"I I think so but my my cars totaled they had to cut me out of my car" you say crying

A medic comes over and is cleaning the cut on your head

"I tried to call Steph but she didn't answer" you say nervously

"Hey send your location pin we'll be there very soon darling" Ellie says before hanging up

You send your location and sit there crying in shock

The medic checked you for a concussion after stitching up and bandaging your forehead

"You have a minor concussion so sit right here" the medic says

A few minutes later Ellie,Steph,and Hayley are running into the scene of the wreck

Steph runs to you first

"Oh my god thank the lord your alright y/n/n what happened" steph asks

"I got hit" you say confused

Steph looks at you like your stupid

"She's in shock Steph" Hayley says looking at your head injury

"The medic she said I have a concussion" you say confused what's happening Steph looks mad at you

Ellie and Hayley share a look

You start to tear up thinking Steph is mad at you

"Why are you crying are you in pain" Ellie asks worried trying to get you to look at her

"Stephy is mad at me" you say crying

All the older girls look shocked you are only 19 but you don't usually act your age

"Hey hey I'm not mad at you none of us are mad at you honey" Steph says pulling you into her side

Ellie goes and talks to the medic that checked you out

While Hayley is talking to the firefighters about what happened in the wreck

Steph keeps you awake by letting you
Fidget with her rings on her fingers

Steph feels horrible for not answering the phone when you called her

Hayley and Ellie come back and see how tired your getting

"Let's get her back to camp I called tony and he has our medics to check her out again" Hayley says

Steph helps you walk to the car and she sits in the back with you

Once you arrive at camp tony and the medics are waiting outside

Tony hugs you as soon as he see you his youngest Matilda

"Okay dear let's get you looked at before bed" tony says gently guiding you to the medical room

Once all checked out tony sends you to bed with Steph

She sets you up in her bed and makes sure you get to sleep before she sleeps so shocked they almost lost you tonight
