Light was found dead by his sister the next day. She took his confession and your notw to the authorities to make sure it was known that he was the true Kira. His note talked about how he was truly Kira and how he loved his family and L and how he hated Misa but most of all how he loved you and was sorry for ruining your life in the end. The both of you had a shared funeral and we're buried together.
