The announcer called my name and Tesa had her hand cupped and talking to a girl. I stopped and stood there in shock. I shook my head and grabbed my whip. "Toby... We can do this!" I said. "Alexis Wells and Tonka truck are up---" The announcer got cut off by Gabriela. "You can do it Alexis!!! Don't give up cause of Tesa!!!!!" She yelled in the mic.
I kicked Toby's sides with my Spurs and he started galloping like lightning struck. We came down to the first barrel and Toby went around it once and headed to the second one. I was feeling iffy on this second one. We made it.
It felt like slow motion when we were heading to the third barrel. Toby swerved around the barrel and I stopped him so fast, he started spinning then we stopped. We stood there and everyone was watching, silence from the crowd. Then cheering came and the whole crowd was gasped at my amazement.
