I woke up to the sunlight beaming in through the window.

Sunlight?

That's a miracle, you don't see sunlight a lot around here.

I got out of bed and took a shower, I put my robe on and walked outside onto the patio. The air was warm, no rain today. The sum shined bright, no clouds today.

So weird to have weather like this in La Push. It's always raining, especially during February.

I walked back in and changed into white shorts, it's pretty warm outside so might as well wear them. I put on a white tank top and a tan colored cardigan. I slipped on my brown gladiator sandals and a golden head band that went across my forehead.

I put on some eyeliner and grabbed my bag, I ran down the stairs and skipped breakfast. I got in my car and drove to school.

The Jake slap was behind me. I just wanted to forget. I know he never meant to hurt me.

I sighed and got out. I was met by Nate. "Hey Harper" He smiled. "Hi" I replied as we walked to the front doors of the school. "You look pretty today" He muttered. I raised my eyebrow at him. His cheeks turned a soft pink.

I let out a small laugh.

"Thanks" I smiled and walked to my locker. "Let me help you" He offered as he grabbed some of my books. I looked at him suspiciously, "Thanks" I mumbled and shut my locker. I grabbed my books from him.

We walked in silence. "Uh about what I said yesterday, I-"

"No it's okay" I cut him off, trying to save us from awkwardness. "Okay then" He mumbled. "So is your cheek okay?" He asked. "Ya it's fine" I answered as we entered our first class. We were the first.

"Harper"

I turned around, Jake stood in front of me. "Hey" I said softly as I set my things down next to Nate's. "Can we talk?" He asked. Nate looked at me as if to say no. I gave him a small smile, "Sure" I replied.

Jake grabbed my stuff, "What are you do-" He cut me off by dragging me to my locker. "Put in your combo" He said sternly. I raised my eyebrow and put in my combo. He opened it and threw my stuff in. "Hey what are you doing?" I asked him as he shut my locker and grabbed my wrist.

"Jake what's wrong with you?" I asked him as he dragged me outside. "Have you ever skipped school?" He asked. I looked at him confused. Suddenly his little plan hit me.

"No. no. no Jake are you crazy I'm not skipping school" I said harshly. "My dad will freak" I hissed. "Come on, be a bad girl for once, plus you don't want to spend this sunny day stuck in school, do you?" He asked, a goofy smile on his face.

"Yes I do" I snapped and turned around, "Nope your coming" He pulled me back and lifted me onto his bike. "Here put this on" He handed me his helmet. I rolled my eyes.

I could feel the eyes of everyone on us.

I put the helmet on as he got on. "Hold on tight" He started the motorcycle. I wrapped my arms around his stomach. I could feel his abbs. And boy they felt good!

I leaned into his back.

We took off.

I could feel the wind blowing against us. I relaxed into his back. I never wanted to let go. I held on tighter at the turns.

Where are we going?

We drove for what felt like forever.

I felt my eyes pop out off their sockets as I saw the Port Angele's sign. What are we doing in Port Angele's. He parked the motorcycle on the side of the rode. We got off. I took the helmet off. "Jake what are we doing in Port Angele's?" I asked. He smiled. "I don't know I just kept driving and ended up here" He grinned.
