After talking for a long few hours Kami agreed that the both of them would stay on the paths they had taken and wouldn't meddle in one another's lives. Kami looked back at the house as she was leaving and frowned deeply. Again another reminder of the world that she had been forced from hit her. She missed so many things about her old home. She missed her grandfather and her friends but most of all she missed that smarmy blonde captain. Kami clutched her shirt over her heart and felt the stab of pain she did when she thought of her past lover. a few tears escaped her eyes as she made her was back to her apartment.
When Kami reached her home she dropped all of her things at the door and feel dramatically onto her couch. She sighted deeply and let out a frustrated groan and turned onto her back. she lifted a string from around her neck pulling the shining band from under her cloths. Kami stared longingly at the only possession she had been able to hold on to. New tears fell from her eyes as she recalled her last conversation with Kisuke. She never even got to give her answer. She would have said yes.
