A/N: As usual, I would recommend putting the video on loop.

Her eyes stayed glued to the rising object, and (f/n) could feel her heart pounding rapidly in her chest. She wanted to move and run out of the bathroom, but the covered floor would surely prevent her from doing that. One slip or one mistake and she could end up with several knives in her. Frankly, her will to live was still present, and she didn't wish to bleed out to death in an escape attempt.

Still, the knife that was coming ever closer to the top of the shower wasn't giving her much promise either. So when the knife was at the top of the shower, matters only became worse. It hovered in the air on the other side of the bathtub. A second passed, and it dropped.

A large splash occurred, sending particles of water onto her and into her hair. Her scream sounded in the bathroom, as she pulled her knees even nearer to her chest. Now, though, she couldn't move them back any further. Additionally, she was pressed up against the back of the tub. There was nowhere to go that wouldn't prove dangerous.

Another knife soon rose into the air, carrying out the same motions as the last. She didn't want to see it fall into the bathtub with her; she didn't want to acknowledge its existence. So, she laid her face on her knees and shut her eyes tight. Its splash hit her as well. (F/n) made sure to keep her feet close, not desiring one of her toes to get caught in the next knife's descent.

At least she presumed there to be another one, and she was proven right by another spray of water impacting her face and hair. This process continued until she felt something prick her left big toe, and a slight pain follow. She opened her eyes and stared at her left foot. One of the knives, in the now small pile of them, had slid off of the pile and pressed into her skin a bit.

The red liquid dispersed into the water, a small stream of it flowing into the bath water. Another knife dropped onto the pile, and this caused another knife to slip off. It slid along the porcelain base and went to hit her left foot again. She moved her foot in time, but only because she had stood up. There was more room between the knives and her now, but that would only last so long. Besides, her back was still pressed up against the back shower wall.

Looking to her left, she could see that there were openings on the bathroom floor now. Still, if she slipped, she could land onto one of the knives that remained on the tiles. Her wet feet and injured toe wouldn't make the escape easier. Then again, did she really want to stay in the tub full of knives? No, she desired to get out of the bathroom and bandage up her toe. Mainly, she just wished to leave the current room and go into another.

Focusing back on the pile of knives in the bathtub, she saw another one drop into the pile. Sooner or later, they would cover the base of the tub. It was like watching an hourglass. Sadly, she wasn't just dealing with dropping sand.

Taking a deep breath and exhaling, she reached her left hand out and gripped the shower door. She ripped it open, and a loud bang resonated in the space. (F/n) wanted to run out, but she probably would've slipped had she tried to do so. Thus, annoyingly, she carefully took her first steps onto the bathroom tiles. After that, she quickened her pace and headed for the exit. Surprisingly enough, nothing happened, but she kept up her guard. The being could just be waiting to attack when she least expected it.

When her feet hit the hallway carpet, however, she was stunned. The thing hadn't stopped her in the slightest, but she didn't want to see those knives anymore. So, she shut the bathroom door and went off into the kitchen for a band-aid. Not shockingly, the knives in the kitchen were gone. Why, though, had the entity made no move to stop her? She could still hear water splashing in the bathroom. It was unnerving and confusing.
