She doesn't have a face
But she can still see you...
Undercover she goes
Others oblivious
Yet ones that know
Know that she has fooled them
All this time
She is not who she claims to be
No, she is someone else
Feared by all
But known by none
Seeing you
When you can't see her
Spying on us
When we think she is gone
A danger to us all
We call her
Dishonesty
We call her
Melancholy
Sullen and bitter
Broken and crude
She survives off of us
And our misdeeds
And carries on with her limp body
Until we see a rainbow of hope
Shine upon us
Bashing her away
