The talk

Bliss POV

I open my eyes and just keep them open. Today is Sunday.
Wait.
I just remembered a major part of my lil life.
Tomorrow is the most memorably day I will have.
My graduation.
I am SO happy yet sad.
I love school.
Now what will I do if there's no work for me.
I can't even plan my future like other college graduates because I'm not even old enough to stay home alone.
Speaking of being home alone I wonder if the everyone is back yet.
I feel bad though.
I know I should have said my expo was yesterday but I hope that it doesn't come up in a conversation.
I decided I want to take a shower but I know I am going to need help.
I am dumb.
I just realized.
I am in my bed.
I thought I fell asleep in my chair.
I guess the others are back then.
My chair is right next to me so I just balance myself on the handle and pull myself on.
I sigh.
That was harder than it should be.
I am really unfit.
Wow.
I am light headed from just sitting on a chair.?
That's sad.
I then heard my door open.
Out of a new found instinct my head snaps to the direction of the door almost giving be whiplash.
"Hey sweetheart!"
I recognize the 3 musketeers aka Bucky, da- Sam, and Steve.
"Yay your back!!!"
I say rolling my chair over to them.
They all chuckled and gave me a hug but being carful because I am not fully healed yet.
"Ok so we need to talk."
Sam said looking at me.
I nodded unsure of what they want to talk about.
"Ok first of all........... why didn't you tell us your expo was yesterday."
He continued.
Dang it.
How did they know?!
"You know?"
I ask looking down.
I feel like a liar now. I never lie.
"Yea........... happy sent tony a video of you on stage and we all watched it"
Bucky answers.
I look down and fiddle with my hands.
"I-I-I'm s-sorry, I d-didn't want t-o d-distract you f-from y-your 'mission'"
I answered all while looking down. It's true.
I didn't want to make them unfocused on there job.
"Sweetheart, it's ok, you wouldn't have distracted us. We would have had other people do this mission if you had told us about the expo. I don't know about them but I would miss all my missions just to see you on that stage"
Steve replies as I built up the guts to look up.
I nodded.
"So I guess I should tell you that I graduate tomorrow too."
I say looking that they get fidgeting.
"Well now you have cheering section."
Sam said no I smiled.
"Ok now for. More serious topic, last night I saw something and I wanted to ask you about it "
I gave another nod still unsure.
"Why do you have that word burned by you ear?"
Tears went to my eye.
"I-I w-would have to show you"
I answered not even able to say a word of What happened.
They all nodded and Bucky carried me to where my bag was in the lab.
He sat me down on the table and I pulled out the flash drive that I hate the most.
"C-can you call the others"
They all nodded and asked Friday to call everyone down.
Ok.

Sam's POV

Everyone came down with confused faces until they saw bliss.
She had the laptop facing us and they new it must be bad.
It is definitely bad.

She walked through the door but it was a younger her. Very small.
She quietly closed the door and went straight to the kitchen.
She went to a table and tried to pull a chair to the counter so she can reach what looked to be a stove.
She looks like she is probably 4, maybe at most 6.
She had her hair up.
She kept pulling the clearly way to heavy for her chair.
As soon as one leg of the chair was off the floor it fell down thankfully next to her.
She let out a little sigh and scrambled to pick the chair back up.
As soon as she touched the chair she was quickly lifted into the air by her red oversized hoodie.
"Where's dinner you little mutt.!"
Screamed Tammy.
"I was trying t-t-to m-make it. B-but t-t-the I dropped t-the c-chair. IM SORRY PLEASE"
She ended up screaming when she was slapped.
"You know what.......... I was waiting for your birthday to do this but I might as well do it now."
Tammy said as the took out a piece of bent metal attached to another metal rod.
She picked up the frying pan that was on the stove and she turned and dropped it right on bliss' stomach.
She let out a high pitch groan.
Tammy then put the metal rod thing on the stove.
"You see...... I never wanted a kid..... I like being free. But you came and ruined my life.............. so I will show you EXACTLY what you mean to me and what you are........ a worthless child!"
She said quietly grabbed the now burning hot rod and pushed it onto bliss' neck.
She let out a scream she was trying to hold in.

Bliss quickly closed the laptop right after we saw what happened.
She only let us see half the video which is the answer for what I asked her.
An answer I wished would have been wrong.
