She was expecting the coldness and hardness of the tiled floor but instead her eyes shot open realizing the warmth engulfing her and the soft mattress beneath her. She tried to get up but the weight at her abdomen and the hot breath at her neck was hindering her. Her face heated up. He was all over her, tangling to her. She wanted to push him right away but then his voice reverberated in her head.

“Next time don’t you dare disturb my sleep like you did just now”

She tried to move her legs but his legs on hers didn’t allow her. Frustrated, she closed her eyes again

‘Now I have to wait for the prince to wake up’

To her luck there was a knock on the door. On third knock he stirred from his sleep and now it was his turn to be shocked. It was his habit to sleep using all the space of his bed. He would sleep at one corner of the bed and wake up to the opposite end. He quickly backed off from her and she opened her eyes. Setting her duppata she got up as he went to open the door.

This was a servant informing him that his mother has called both of them to her room. Closing the door as he turned she quickly uncovered her head.

“Come Mom is calling”

“Let me change first I …” He cocked his brow at her

“Change? Why?”

She was looking everywhere except him, “I … these clothes are very t-tight I …”

But he unheard her, “Mom hasn’t called you to check your outfit and anyways there is no male in the house”

“But Salaar Bhai …” He looked at her in question

“Salaar.. when did you meet him?”

“Yesterday he and Manal came and …..” but he cut her off again

“And you told them some other story, Haven’t you?” In answer she just bit her lips

“Now I get it why Mom called us, I’ll come back to it later, now be quick I’m already getting late for office” and she’s left with no choice except to follow him

Sabeen was waiting for Maier in his office’s waiting area but there was no sign of him. It’s 10:00 and she has now very short time to cover all the things.

“Salaar told me about your father’s problem, you should’ve told me earlier” Maier tuned to her at Saiqa’s words and she who was sitting beside him abruptly nodded her head closing her eyes.

“W-what problem?” Maier got an angry glare from his mother

“I didn’t expect it from you Maier that you would lie about the girl whom you love”

"Love .. ohh God this idiot girl”

Maier was just gritting his teeth as he have no idea what story she has cooked

“Now why both of you are quiet?” Saiqa was reading their faces. Anabia has unknown fear while Maier was controlling his temper

“We … actually Abi’s friend asked my hand to waive off his debt otherwise he threatened to take me and my sister with him… I … I knew Maier so he helped me and my f-family” Her voice gets moist at the mention of her family and what he can do to her family

She narrated the whole story to make him know the tidbits of her made up story

“Ok baita tell me about your father, I want to meet him and …” but Maier interrupted her
