*The Old Man*

The old man lives alone in a house big and cold.
Every night he lays in bed, his mind a habitat of fear and dread.
He fears the things that aren't real like ghosts, goblins, and zombies with sickly rotted skin.
Sometimes he wanders the halls alone thinking about the death and sin that consumes us whole.
His death is near to come, he can tell
He will just have to wait.
