By the time I arrived at my house, the technique had started to wane. I frantically placed a futon on the ground and laid Kyojuro's sleeping body on it. I repeated the Breath of Sun technique.

When the glow faded, my jumped to my feet. I went to the medical cabinet to fetch a roll of bandages and some iodine. I removed his stained uniform shirt and his cloak thing. I lifted his limp body and propped him up at an angle so I could wrap the bandages around his gut with relative ease. Kyojuro sat up and rubbbed his face. He coughed, blood slurting out his mouth.
"Lay back down," I sighed "You need rest."
If he was going to get up every five minutes, this healing process will take a long time.
"... Demons..." he mumbled, before falling backwards on my lap. I sighed with a slight smile.
"Look how the lights of the town, the lights of the town are shining now," I sang softly "Tonight I'll be dancing around, I'm off on the road to Galway now..."
