The laughs we shared.
Holding each other when scared.
Our love we declared.
My heart you ensnared.

The kisses that made our fights worth while.
Helping me develop my writing style.
Seeing each other faces made us smile.
Drying my tears that were as long as the Nile.
Have you forgotten?
Now its like you never cared.
The family that we prepared.
Fighting for each other - if they dared.
My walls you knocked down - my soul bared.
Now I feel nothing but disconcert.
The love for me you use to assert.
Our love was never overt.
Each day with you was like dessert.
