Not stand up comedy
Laughter may be the best medicine
But writing is my remedy
[So basically I take a random word (or you can give me words via comments wink wink nudge nudge ) and I make quick poetry using it, not really thinking about it for long]
Spectacles
Spectacles you say?
Let's throw that away
It's a common word
Don't keep you imagination at bay
Let it fly let it soar,
Come one don't be a bore
Don't be shy, don't mumble
Just let the cookie crumble
Stand up
Stand up, buttercup
Keep you chin up high
Don't look down at the earth
Eyes trained on the sky!
(Why? Because you may or may not have been born in July)
I know it didn't make you laugh, that rhyme was mediocre
Well, sorry to burst you bubble
I'm not a professional joker
You may think it's as easy
As watering a garden
Don't tell me that they're bad,
I beg your pardon?
[I know the last one was a bit aggressive, bursting bubble and whatnot, but I loved it :P ]
