"Vanessa?" Usnavi asked as the smaller girl laid on his bare chest, listening to his heart beat.
"Yeah?" She replied in a quiet voice, almost like a whisper.
"Can, can I take you out on a date? Would you be ok with that?" He breath hitched, and she exhaled sharply.
"Wha- of course you can!" Vanessa told him. "But for now, let's just stay like this for a while."
"That would be nice."

The pair decided that they would meet each other at the restaurant, so they could get ready alone. Vanessa sat in the Schuyler dorm, get her face beat with makeup and her hair tugged at.
"Hey! That's my eyeball!" She shouted at Peggy.
"And? You want cute eyeliner or not?" Peggy continued apply the eyeliner to Vanessa's water line.
Eliza pulled at Vanessa's hair so it was tied in a nest ponytail.
"How about... this one?" Nina asked, holding up a silky red dress.
"I like that one." Peggy said.
"Me too." Eliza agreed.
"It'll do." Vanessa shrugged.

Usnavi sat in his own dorm, Benny and John on each side of him, and Angelica pacing in front of the three.
"So... a nice shirt, black slacks, and dress shoes should do the job." She decided. She mumbled something else under her breath.
"What was that?" Usnavi asked.
"Nothing! Nothing. Just, erm, talking to myself." Angelica brushed him off.

Vanessa took her seat in front of Usnavi at the restaurant.
"You look... stunning." He breathed out.
"Oh, um, thank you." She smiled at him. They opened their menus and looked through the options.
"Hello, what can I get started for you two?" The waiter asked.
"I'll get the fettuccine Alfredo, please." Vanessa said. "And a glass of red wine."
"And you, sir?"
"I'll get the same as her." Usnavi stated, smiling at Vanessa.
