Bri's outfit for the party ^
Gossip travelled around fast and in a matter of minutes everyone heard of the guy who died outside the barrier.
Bri was talking with Terra, Musa and Aisha about the recent gossip.
"Who actually saw the shepherd's body? Maybe he was just old. People get old, die. We all die." Asked terra
"That old-age decapitation really sneaks up on you." Musa joked earning a grin from bri.
"Happened to my man right in the middle of bingo. Just... thwop, thwop,thwop. Down the table" Aisha continued
"It happened to my great aunt once when she was bowling. She was about to take her turn , she rolled it but not only did the bowl go down the alley but so did her head... the bowl ended up going down the gutter but her head scored a 9. She ended up winning but I still count that as cheating!" Bri made up while Musa and Aisha chuckled at all the hand gestures she made during that story until musa looked at what Aisha was eating and said
"No judgement, but..." before getting cut off by Aisha
"I eat a million calories a day. If I didn't swim, I'd be massive."
But bri noticed as soon as that was said terra's mood changed and it didn't take a mid fairy to figure that out. So she grabbed terra's hand and rubbed circles on it so hopefully she could find some comfort in that. Bri understood as her mother always pushed her to be the skinnier, cut down on food, wear corsets until she could hardly breathe even though and none of it was good enough for her mother. She was already considered skinny to everyone. It made her hate her body but she learnt to love herself no matter what people say so when people felt down about themselves it always hurt her and would do best to let them know they are beautiful.
" i used to dance. I get it" Musa said before Aisha went to go to her second swim of the day. Once she left, terra spoke up saying
"So you did hear her earlier?"
"What?" Musa said confused and bri said her goodbyes as it seemed like a private conversation that wasn't her business and also needed the toilet so she thought it was the best time to leave.
