Chapter 12- Why?

"Mr. Vice-e Chairman-n?" It felt like someone stabbed me right in my heart. My heart became heavy and I couldn't breathe properly nor could I form words. As much as I wanted to run away from the situation, more than that I wanted to hug him tightly. Tears started to formed in my eyes by the thought that he has a fiancé and will be getting married soon.

"Do you both know each other?" Min-Young asked

"No, this is the first-t time we're meeting" I said though I didn't wanted to say it

"I'm Park Y/n-n" I said as I couldn't form words

"I'm Mr. Vice- I'm Kim Taehyung" he replied as I could clearly see that he was shocked too. For the first time, I saw his eyes getting watered. I looked at Min-Young, she looked so happy. I didn't want to become reason for her sadness. I didn't wanted to come between them but at the same time, my heart ached seeing him with her. I couldn't process what to do.

"Min-Young, I'll leave now-w. It was nice meeting you-u" I said and she nodded while smiling. I tried returning the smile, but I couldn't even smile. I immediately left not wanting to talk anymore. After walking for a few minutes, I went inside a dark alley and sat down resting my head on the wall. Tears started to roll down my eyes. Yes, I hated him but why did I feel like I still loved him the way I did 2 years ago? I hoped this was all fake but no! It's freaking happening! He has a fiancé and he'll get married! Will I ever will be happy? 

[Time skip: 2am in the morning]

"Who the fuck is at the door at 2am...OH MY HOLY SHIT! What happened to you? You look like a zombie and where have you been?" Jimin as he saw me on the door. Before he could say anything I started to choke him

"Yah-h, what-t are... doing-g" he said as he kept tapping my hand

"Why did you leave Min-Young! Couldn't you get married to her! Then at least she wouldn't come between us!" I said as I let go of his neck and sat on the floor and started crying

"What? What are you talking about and why are you crying?" he said as he rubbed my back.

[Time skip: after explaining Jimin everything]

"So Min-Young is Taehyung's Fiancé!?" he almost yelled while I nodded weakly

"This is more complicated than I thought. What are you going to do now?" he said and I started crying again. He hugged me and rubbed my back,

"It's okay, I'm always here for you" for the first time, I didn't feel like killing him. Soon, I drifted in sleep. 

[Time skip: 11am, Art Gallery]

Yes, I work at an art gallery as I found that only by art, I can express the buried emotions in me. My most renowned work was a painting called 'Till the end'. It was my first ever painting and it showed how a boy and girl promised each other to stay until the end but parted. Yes, it showed me and Mr. Vice Chairman. While showing people around, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see Jungkook with his famous bunny smile

"We meet again" he said and a smile crept on my face. For some reasons, while I'm with Jungkook, I could smile.

"What are you doing here?" I asked

"If you don't know, I'm a sculptor and I came here to have some inspirations" he replied

"Then tell me, which one of the art works do you like the most?" 

"Well all paintings are really inspirational but I like that one the most, 'unfinished love'" he said and pointed at the painting. It basically showed three people, a girl and boy dancing in wedding dress while another boy is watching them from far. At the time I painted it, it was just a part of my imagination but now it feels like it was all faith. 

"Y/n, I won't lie but yesterday I saw what happened. Are you okay?" Jungkook asked

"No. I'm not okay. It hurts a lot, seeing the person you love with someone else" 

"Let's go to the roof shall we? And have some coffee maybe?" he asked to which I nodded. Me and Jungkook were talking while sipping our coffees when we heard two people arguing. 

"I told you I didn't wanted to come here!" someone yelled and it was the same voice

"Why? I wanted to meet Y/n" hearing my name, I turned around to see Taehyung and Min-Young. I gulped down the lump formed after seeing them together while Jungkook looked at me

"Why do you want to see her?" 

"Because I like her!" 

"BUT I DON'T! YOU WANT TO GO THEN GO!" Taehyung yelled

"Do you even love me?" Min-Young asked while tears started to form in my eyes

"Why are you bringing that between all this?"

"Kiss me!" Min-Young yelled making my eyes go wide

"What?" 

"Kiss me if you love me and not-" and that's when my last hope was destroyed. He kissed her. Jungkook hugged me so that I couldn't see them but I knew he kissed her. I started crying and Jungkook rubbed my back while rubbing my back. Taehyung saw me and Jungkook on the rooftop and pulled away. Min-Young saw me and Jungkook and waved at Jungkook while Taehyung glared at both of us. 

"Sometimes, you have to cry to let go of the emotions. Cry, I won't stop you" Jungkook whispered and took me inside. Jungkook took me to my office and gave me some water. Jungkook excused himself while I continued to drink the water 

Taehyung's POV:

The thing which I feared the most happened. Y/n saw me kissing Min-Young. I don't love her but she made me so angry that I couldn't do anything but just prove her wrong. But what me made me angry more was seeing Jungkook hugging her. Why does he always come between us! I went inside the gallery and saw Jungkook coming out of a room. I grabbed him by his collar and dragged him with me to the rooftop.

"Why!? Why do you always come between us!?" I yelled as I punched him

"What the fuck is wrong with you!" he yelled and punched me back

"Why do you always come between us huh!?" 

"What do you mean by 'us'? Who is this 'us'? Because I know it's not you and Y/n. If it's Min-Young then I never came between you!" 

"You know exactly what I am talking about but won't accept the fact right?" I said as I grabbed him by his collar

"You should have thought before hurting her a year back! I didn't do anything back them because I saw how happy Y/n, but now, every time she sees you, that smile on her face disappears and all she get's is hurt! I'm warning you Taehyung, if I see her getting hurt because of you, I swear things won't go pretty well" 

"And what? You're her boyfriend or what?" 

"No, but all I know is that you have a fiancé and you better stop fooling around by chasing some other girls" 

"Shut up! You don't know anything! You have no idea why I broke up with her!" I yelled

"Then tell me, Why did you broke up with me? Why?" We both turned our towards the door

"Y/n...?"
