Hello, my beautiful readers! I hope the Arshi journey has been good for you.
When I started writing this story on my phone, it was a one-shot of Diwali night. Then it turned into a romance tale. Then, it turned into something that I hadn't begun to process. A complete story with all kinds of scenarios. But the best one was my idea to tie up the character differences to something tangible. That being, Khushi.
Khushi is a character you see in every girl. Every human being. Someone who is amicable and at the same time an introvert. Someone who is outgoing but has reservations. Someone who knows what family means even when, biologically, she might not have one. While the princess as pauper angle is not new, I hope the explanations were satisfactory enough. If not, and even if they were, I would like to welcome you all to the next phase of my Arshi universe.
As many might have guessed, this was the BIG revelation I was building towards. Dedicated readers may have noticed I dropped some out of character thoughts for Khushi in the last few chapters. Now you know what has been going on. As per my author's note title, this story is paused. Why? Because it's time to know what led to Khushi Agnihotri marrying Arnav Singh Raizada. Hence, introducing the prequel 'Hate Me Like You Don't'.
What will this prequel offer, you ask?
1. A princess going underground.
2. A prince tracking glass slippers when the princess is right in front of him.
3. Why Shyam didn't create much noise.
I understand the re-entry of Shyam might seem meaningless, a means to my ending this story. But hang tight. This isn't the end. So, while this timeline of my Arshi Universe is on temporary pause, I'm hitting play on it's prequel. I know, I know, you might be cursing me like mad. But trust me, you will enjoy this.
Additionally, a part 3 is in the making! Like, did the name Kashyap ring any bells? Why was Shyam mad about losing a child to the extent that he came back to Shantivan? The next event in this timeline will be in a fresh new story "Hell Bent, Heaven Sent"
