I see them as friends, but unlike Shelly and Colt were they can maybe be together it doesn't work.
Mainly do to the fact in my headcanons 8 bit treats Rico like garbage, and that their personalities clash a lot.
Their friendship is literally: How the heck are they even friends!
So I don't think they'd make good together in a romantic relationship
