"So you smoke now." The man asked, sitting next to her on the bench

She just ignored him, wanting nothing with the man

She regretted asking to meet, but she had to say something. If she didn't she would be like a peice of unpoped corn waiting to pop

"I've lost everything. My children, the job I loved. All because I fucking listened to you. I should've known better."

She threw down her cigarette down onto the ground and stepped on it with the soul of her shoe

"After this stupid run to whatever, I'm done! I'm getting back my job, getting a house and getting mY children back, with no help from you."
