Sophia's POV
" Umm.. it's my phone ... It's in the room , I'll check who it is " I said and got up from my place to take the call
I went in the room and found 5 miss calls from mom " fucking shit " why didn't I hear them ???
They were in the morning I must be sleeping !! But still why didn't I woke up? Gosh!! I am dead today
I then instantly dialled my mom's number and within few seconds she picked up the call and started shouting
" Where the hell in the world are you sophia? "
" I was trying to call you since 7 am why you didn't picked up my call "?
" Why are you not speaking anything reply me ?? Miss Sophia answer my question , where are you ?
And then I suddenly cut the call
I first tried to digest her anger and then her words it can be clearly identified that she knows that I am not in hostel ' fuck '
" I am dead today "
I gathered all my courage , calmed my self and breathed out ... * Huff*
I then again dialled mom's number ready to face her again ... And she picked up the call
" Hello" I said trying my best to stay confident
" Am I talking to Miss Sophia ?" She asked in total sarcasm
" Mom!!!"
" What mom , Sophia where the hell are you , last night was very horrible I was worried for you , I was not able to call you because my phone was dead but then In morning I tried to call you hundreds of time and you didn't picked up a single call , I even contacted you college and guess what they told me that you have not been in college since 4 days nor you are in your room .... Then.where.are.you????"
She asked well I guess it was all in one breathe
" I am at Sebastian's home " I answered honestly as I know I am very bad at lying she would catch it easily also she has to know where her daughter is specially when she already know that I was not in hostel or college since 4 days
" WHATTTTT??"
" What are you doing there? ,Why are you there??"
" His mom was ill and he requested me to take care of her till he come back " I answered
" Come back ??? From where ?"
"Umm.... I can't tell you that " I answered and there is no way I am going to tell her the truth at least right now or else shd would be here in next second and everything will be ruined by and I don't want that
" What do you mean by that , answer me " she shouted
" Sorry mom it's his personal matter I can't tell that to everyone "
" Everyone??? I am your mother " she was shouting rather then scolding me
" I... Don't mean that .. it's just that I can't tell you sorry "
" I had already told you to stay away from the person and you know he is not good for you , did you forget what he did with you and you are still taking his side why are taking care of his mother??"
" Everything is okay between us and we are friends ...
" FRIENDS seriously he is just a jerk , he will ruin your future sophia just stop being with him and come back to home "
" I am sorry I can't "
" What... What did you say .. you can't , you have to I am your mother and you have to obey me " she shouted and i swear if she continued this I would become deaf
" You can't force me to obey you , everytime you try to control me , every single time , you know what you don't trust me "
" I trust you but I don't trust that jerk "
" First of all he is not a jerk his name is Sebastian " I cleared
" Ohh really then tell me don't he have tattoos and piercings on his body ??? "
" You can't judge him by his appearance ... Wait how do you know he has tattoos and piercings ??"
" I knew it ... I was just testing you and see you revealed it by your self " she said and i can't believe it she trucked me ohhh god
" I am telling you last time leave his place and come back to home and you are no more staying in hostel " she declared
" I am sorry mom I won't come back ,I guess I am 20 now and I have legal rights to take decision by my own and I will continue to stay in hostel only " i too clearly mentioned
" Ohh really then I won't be paying fees manage them by your own ... This is your punishment " she said and cut the call .
" Shit " I blurted once the call got end
And then there was a knock on the door ... Sebastian was standing there with confused and concerned face
" Com in " I said and sat on the bed and buried my face in my hands...
Sebastian's POV
" Is everything okay ?" I asked as i stood right infront of her , I guess she had a fight with her mother again maybe she came to know that she is staying here...
" My mom came to know about me that I am staying here and now she want me to go back to her and do what she tells probably transfer to another college and stay at home but I refused so said she won't be paying my fees for college and hostel " she informed and what I was expecting
" You again fought with your mom for me ?" I asked
" No... I fought for myself she has been always deciding my borders , I am like a puppet for her but now I want freedom I want to make my own rules I don't want anyone to decide what should I do or what should I not " she said confidently and i am happy for that , that she is getting independent
" I guess you would be needing my help now " i said and sat beside her
And just passed a confused look to me
" You are basically in 3rd year right so now you can easily get an internship and if you get one you can easily pay your fees " i said
" But how will I get that " she asked
" That's why I told you , you will need my help for that" I said
" Means ?"
" Have you heard about 'Blue bird publishers' ?? I asked
" Yes that's a really big publishing company " she said and her happiness and excitement can be clearly seen , I remember I once saw the newsletter of blue bird company on her desk , I doubted that if she wanted to go there but never asked her
" Yes, well that is own by one of my friend's father , actually my friend died due to cancer but his father is also very good friend of mine so if you want I can ask him ... And before I could complete my sentence she just jumped on me and hugged me making me fall on the bed eventually she was on top of me right now... Well I didn't expected that
She then finally realised our position and so she got of me..
" I am sorry ... " She said but I could see her red flushed cheeks and she actually looked cute like that ...
" Should I consider that as yes ?" I asked well I wanted to tease her little but then didn't wanted to make her feel embraced ..
She then nodded yes and said thank you ...
"No problem miss , you already own me "I said and passed a wink to her and left for taking bath leaving her blushing again
