Aiden's POV- I have always been the golden boy/ famous guy wherever I went and it made it sometimes difficult to make true friends. Half of the time I can't tell if the friends I made are real friends or fake. It had been the same for so many years, people only became my friend because 1) to get famous or 2) cause of my looks. But all this changed when I become friends with Nina.
Wait... before I get into the story of Nina and mine, let me tell you a few things about myself. Hi! Names Aiden, age 19, favorite color is blue, I love football and swimming but I also play other sports. I have been captain of our school's football team. Also Let's not forget the best part, food<3. I mean come on food comes before everything, well at least used to before I met Nina.
Alright storytime, let's get into it. Nina and I bumped into each other in a cafe, we both were in a hurry and didn't notice each other... haha now that I think about it it was as if it was fate... anyways this was two weeks before finals, now you understand right why we were in a hurry.
We exchanged numbers that day. We spoke everyday from then, and slowly I realized I started having feelings for her but didn't know if she felt the same. So I waited for any sort of sign from her side. finally, I got one after finals. I asked her out during the vacation we had before university started.
Nina was worried for her friend, Ameera. She had a crush on me for almost two years. I knew many girls had a crush on me and wanted me to be their boyfriend and I don't know, I never felt anything for anyone until I bumped into Nina.
Anyways as Ameera and I became friends, I realized she is an amazing girl and deserves better so I wanted to let her know about Nina and my relationship. But Nina refused saying she doesn't want to lose her Ameera. I don't want to lose her too, so I have been trying to convince Nina.
These past few weeks that Ameera ignored us, it really hurt Nina and I. Nina didn't eat properly or talk much to anyone. She barely smiled and it was starting to affect our relationship.
Ahmed has been a really great friend. When Ameera was not talking to us, he was beside her side. He kept giving us information on how she is doing and also trying to convince her to give us a chance. I know we hurt her a lot but I really hope she gives us a chance. Well, let's hope for the best I guess...
