Monty anxiously bounced his leg Ashe sat in the emergency room of the hospital waiting on an update regarding Nina, who had been taking into her third surgery since he brought her in early that morning.

After Alora beat her black and blue followed by his death grip Nina seemed to be fine. Of course she was bruised badly; black eyes. busted lip, possible concussion from Alora hitting her over the head with a gun. But after she collapsed in his living room the next day he rush her to the nearest hospital.

Monty didn't feel a bit of sympathy from Nina. If she had listened to him none of this would have happened. But Nina became too ambitious to go after the one family that not many people have survived against. She seemed to know everything about that family but didn't have an ounce of fear in her.

"Mr. Smith!" Someone yelled walking towards the waiting area.

"That's me." He rose from the chair, making his way toward the person.

"Hey I'm Dr. Nev and I operated on Nina. Good news she is stable. We were able to stop the internal bleeding, she has a concussion. Do you know who may have done this ? It looks like she got into a bed beating."

"I'm sorry no. She called me after it happened. Shen didn't think her injuries were that bad when we spoke but when I arrived she was passed out. I rushed her as fast as I could." he lied, attempting to sound sad .

"Well good thing you did or she'd be dead. She's been out of surgery for a few hours now. I'm sorry we're just giving you an update."

"No, it's okay. I understand it can be hectic around here." Monty replied.

"Mhm you can come back and see her for a little bit. Visiting hours are over in a few hours."

Monty nodded. "Thank you."

He followed the doctor behind the double door until they reached Nina's room. When he entered she was laying in bed looking in a daze almost. She didn't even hear Monty coming into the room.

"Nina!" he said loudly, trying to get her attention.

"Oh my god Monty!" she whined, putting her hands over her ears. "My head is already throbbing and your making it worse."

"I mean maybe if you would've listened you wouldn't be in here." he shrugged.

"No maybe if you weren't such a bitch this situation would've been handled! You kept dragging ya feet. This is on you!" she said back.

"No it's not ! KD and Redz are the targets. Ya dumbass went off script and went after Alora after I told you not to!" he pointed at her. "Going after Alora only alarmed her folks to put more protection around her. You know half of her fucking family is in the city now."

Nina head dropped because she didn't know that at all. "Fuck !" she cursed herself.

"See what you caused ! You just fucking ruined everything for me. You think Alora about let me anywhere my son now!" he shouted in her face.
