P.T's POV

I sat at the countertop of a bar feeling sorry for myself with a bottle of alcohol in front of me. As I lift my glass I hear grunting. I look over and see Tom struggling to get up. I bring my glass to my lips as he walks over. I look over and when he gets closer I pour myself more of the drink. He sits down on top of my hat and looks down at me. "Figured you'd end up here. Feeling sorry for yourself." As he says this I hear the door open and I look over seeing everyone walk in.

"Folks, if you've come to get paid, the money is gone. All of it. Nothing left to give you." I tell them.

"Shut up, Barnum." Lettie tells me. "You just don't get it. Our own mothers were ashamed of us. Hid us our whole lives. Then you pull us out of the shadows. And now you're giving up on us, too. Maybe you are a fraud. Maybe it was just about making a buck. But you gave us a real family."

"And the circus... that was our home." W.D. says. "We want our home back."

P.T.
Everyone

I saw the sun begin to dim
And felt that winter wind blow cold
A man learns who is there for him
When the glitter fades and the walls won't hold
'Cause from that rubble
What remains
Can only be what's true
If all was lost
There's more I gained
'Cause it led me back
To you
I look up at Tom and he gives me a smile. I stand up and make my way to the photos on the wall.
From now on
I slowly walk while looking at the pictures.
I drank champagne with kings and queens
The politicians praised my name
But those are someone else's dreams
The pitfalls of the man I became
For years and years
I chased their cheers
The crazy speed of always needing more
But when I stop
I picked up a framed photo of me and my family in front of the circus.
And see you here
I remember who all this was for
I hang the photo back up
And from now on
I turn to them
These eyes will not be blinded by the lights
From now on
Tom fills glasses up and we pass them around
What's waited 'til tomorrow starts tonight
It starts tonight
And let this promise in me start
Like an anthem in my heart
From now on
I swing around with Lettie
From now on
From now on
I sit on the counter
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
I get off the counter and we all dance.
Home, again!
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again!
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again!
(From now on!)
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again!
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again!
And we will come back home
And we will come back home (Yes)
I look back at the photo
Home, again!
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again!
From now on
I ran out of the building after putting my coat and hat on.
These eyes will not be blinded by the lights!
From now on!
What's waited 'til tomorrow starts tonight!
It starts tonight!
Let this promise in me start
I jump on a train
Like an anthem in my heart
From now on
From now on
From now on
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again!
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again!
And we will come back home
And we will come back home
Home, again
From now on
From now on
Home, again, ooh, ooh
From now on
From now on
Home, again
