I'm so sorry for the delay!!!

2 weeks later:

I woke up with a thundering heart and looked around in panic. When I didn't see anyone there I grasped my head and pulled myself up against the head board. Clutching tightly onto my hair, I pushed it aside and buried my head in my arms.

Nightmares, Bloody nightmares, nightmares in which someone always died. I had been having them a lot and they grew worse and worse with every passing day.

The rain continued to pelt against the ground, so hard that it seemed angry, with all the dirt, dust, darkness and corruption that had accumulated during its absence. Its heavy beating was followed by thunder strikes, a war seemed to be going on up in the skies.

It made me forget about all the bad dreams from the past week and instead focus on its rage, I now understood why people feared being struck by lightning. As a kid I would always go out when it rained in hopes of knowing what it felt like.

Right now though, the sky wasn't so inviting and the night wasn't so peaceful. I thanked the skies that pelted away the sound of gunshots ringing inside the mansion.

Here I was, locked inside my room, away from all the blood spill, bullets and guns. It had happened around 9 o'clock, I had been awoken because of all the ruckus outside. Severus had been in the room with me and after he relaxed me enough for me to understand what he was saying, he took his leave. Having to deal with this all as the new boss.

From the shadows under the door I knew there were around 8 men guarding my door. 8 men that were no doubt heavily guarded and ordered to tear apart anyone who so much as looked at the door twice.

Tonight the nightmare had been more emotionally and mentally scarring than all the others.

The mansion was dark, the sounds of bullets, guns and shouts surrounded me as I ran. The hallway shifting around me groaning loudly with every step I took, casting shadows that tried to reach out and grab me.

Shadows that whispered darkly, demanding help rather than asking me for it. I turned a corner and stopped as the whole house shook violently. I gasped as several small shadows stepped out from the walls, breathing heavily, all their dark eyes casted at me. Frowning as I met their eyes.

"Help us."

One of them croaked and reached out, her burnt skin touched mine, leaving behind a mark as I yelped and pulled away.

"Where are you going?"

Another one asked, popping up behind me.

"She's running away because she's defenseless, useless, she can't do anything to help us."

One of them sneered as I stepped back towards the wall, leaning against it to gain my breath. The air became heavy and humid, hateful gazes mingled with envious glances were casted my way.

I grabbed onto the collar around my neck and tugged as it tightened against my skin. My breath caught in my throat as I struggled to pull it off.

Two arms shot out from the wall and pulled me back, deeper into it and its caving darkness. For a long while, I floated in darkness feeling nothing but the darkness around me. The collar began tightening again and I gasped in pain, trying to move my hand.

I found them bound to a wall as a shadow appeared before me, it leaned down and rested its forehead against mine. Tears fell down my cheeks as the darkness faded away and the chains fell around me.

The wall disappeared, the collar unlocked and withered away into air but my eyes remained focused on the shadow that was now cleared. A smile visible at her face as she opened her arms towards me invitingly.
