Sanpei is seen sitting by the river, taking a break from training, "Man, that training really drained me," he said and looks at the Sarutobi Ninjaden Ride Book, "For some reason, I was caught in the crossfire for being a Swordsman even though I did very little to become one. Good thing they brought back everyone after she erased almost all of us,"
The bushes behind him then starts making noises and he turns around. He prepared for if the thing he's encountering is danger or not but he won't hold back
Someone popped out of the bushes and it was revealed to be Ryan, "All of that obstacles just to get to you," he said
"Who are you?" Sanpei asked
"Huh? Oh me? I'm Ryan, or you could say Swordsman of Void, or the Void Swordsman, or-"
"Okay I get it, you're a Swordsman. But why are you here?" he asked
"Ah, you see I'm here to know more about you," he replied
"What does that mean?" Sanpei asked
"I actually don't see you often in most of the missions, heck are you even a Swordsman at all? Or are you just someone who just lucky to have one," Ryan asked
"I am a Swordsman, but I don't use my Seiken a lot of the time to help you guys," he replied
"Eh? Why?" He asked
"I don't know, the Swordsman lifestyle isn't my type," he replied
"Why not? You love training, right? We have a place for any Swordsman to train whenever they want," Ryan said
"I do, but it's just... I don't want to," Sanpei replied
"Well, you're in luck because I have expert swordsmanship, so I can teach you the basics of using your Seiken," he said
"That sounds like a lie, are you just making that up so you can look more superior?" He asked
"No question needed, I am strong," he replied
"Fine, let's see if that were the case," Sanpei said and took out his Fuusouken Hayate

In the base
Ryugh entered the Sword of Logos base with Victor, Gloria, and Hop waiting for him
"What do you want? I heard you wanted me," Ryugh asked
"Ryugh, we know that you're an ex member of Team Despair," Victor replied
"So?" He asked
"We wanted to know if you know where the location of the base," Hop responded
"And uncovering their plans and seeing the leader," Gloria said
"... I think you're not ready for that," Ryugh responded
"Why not? Isn't stopping Team Despair your plan earlier?" Victor asked
"Indeed, I did say that. But it's too early to do so," he replied
"Is there something we need to know?" Gloria asked
"I've wanted this to happen a lot later than now,"
"Why's that?" Hop asked
"If you're ready to see their wrath, I won't stop you," Ryugh replied
"Is it really that bad?" Victor asked
